First time trying, ordered Aburi Saba, Aburi Tuna Toro & Box A via deliveryTaste 1/2*Both Aburi sushi were average, though I gotta say was surprised to find out they were food court sushi joint, pretty good for that standardBox A was tasty, chicken was crispy and tender despite having being delivered, California roll had good chunk of advocado, was not much of a fan for the shrimp tempura as it was too much batter for my likingFreshness 0.5/1*Didn’t taste particularly fresh, not saying it was bad, just not the freshness that makes you jumpValue 1/1*Great value for the amount and food court sushi quality!Overall/Revisit 1/1*Yes would reorder againAbove and beyond? 0/+1*NA

I didn't even want to give this a single star. My concern isn't related to the food, but rather the customer service. The woman at the counter, who appeared to be around 35-40 years old, seemed to lack basic human decency and common sense. There's a need for training on how to interact with customers.

This review is not about food but customer service. In summary: rude and unprofessional.First of all, they trying to charge you twice. All your attempts to show them proof of transaction met with ignorance and they just repeating you need to pay again. This is third or forth review about this scheme, so be extra careful.Amount they entered in terminal was for previous customer, when I pointed them to mistake, no sorry and no offer for difference refund.I will never visit this place again because of stress the simple process of buying sushi for lunch can cause.

Could be some of the worst sushi I've ever had. I know because it's a food court, pre-made sushi joint I should temper my expectations but I figured at least it would be better than gas station sushi. The avocado was way underripe to the point of almost being crunchy, the imitation crab was devoid of any flavour and they didn't use any kewpie with it, the wasabi was of the cheapest quality and again devoid of any flavour, and the salmon nigri was NOT fresh. I had one bite and immediately stopped eating for fear of developing food poisoning. That's $13 I'll never see again.Avoid this place by all costs.

--I went to Sushi Q located in Lougheed Mall Burnaby, BC. --The date was Sept. 02 2023 Saturday @ 12:45 noon. --This is a Japanese take out but the owners are Chinese , not Japanese. --The woman in the counter refused to give me a receipt for a package of sushi California and avocado roll. It cos $14.59 rounded to $14.60. --She charged 20 cents for the bag to go and on top of that, GST and PST for the bag. --She refused to give receipts for both transactions. --I tried to return the sushi package as a matter of principle. --She refused to get the unopened package while I was still in the counter. -------She said if I were to insist on getting a receipt, that will be 20 cents to print the receipt. -I want the CRA people to audit this food outlet as they could be scamming CRA over taxes. --A receipt is a proof that a transaction was completed. --In this Sushi Q situation, no receipt means there will be no proof of a transaction. --As well plus if there is a health issue, there is no way I can prove that their sushi caused me illness. --CRA should check this out and --Fraser Health Authority should inspect the place.

Good clean quality sushi place located on the second floor at the Lougheed Centre Mall next to the food court , very clean and friendly and affordable place , all the sushi and nigiri is pre packaged ,variety choices , nice place to " Grab To Go " special for lunch .

I love this place! I ate here recently for the first time in a long while. Despite this, the owner remembered me and my order from my previous visit. She is always very kind and sociable when I talk with her.I see some other reviews addressing what they see as "longer wait times" for food. Personally I do not see this as unreasonable, considering the fact that it is only this one, aforementioned woman working (and working hard) by herself when I have visited.... other than the very charming robot server ☺️If you take anything away from this review: try their Sushi Burgers! They are my absolute favourite on the menu and I gladly go out of my way to come and get them.
