I was really disappointed with the customer service here. After purchasing something, I asked to use the washroom and was told it was for “employees only.” For a business that has customers dining on-site, refusing basic washroom access doesn’t meet BC health requirements and doesn’t make sense from a customer service standpoint. To make it worse, they told me to “go next door” and use the washroom at another restaurant , a place I didn’t even buy anything from. That is not that restaurant’s responsibility, and it’s unfair to put their staff in that position. I genuinely wanted to enjoy the shaved ice, but the customer service was not good. The boy working acted as if we were an inconvenience, and the ice itself was just mediocre. With service like that, I don’t see a reason to return.

I had never tried shaved ice until going to this super cute cafe —and it was love at first bite! The ube shaved ice bubble tea was absolutely AMAZING! The fine flakes of ice melted on my tongue and the ube flavour was a perfect flavour and sweetness. I greatly appreciated that I could choose my preferred sugar level. I also had try the chocolate flavour in the same visit, and was delighted by that one as well. I highly recommend checking out this place! The decor is adorable and the ice cream looks super tasty (I’m excited to try the Earl Grey!).

Very cute store. Loved the toy sloths decorating the ceiling and walls. I tried the matcha flavour and enjoyed it. A cool detail is that the scooper will shape your ice cream into a flower.

This cafe doesn’t allow its customers to use their washroom, which is a Fraser Health violation. We bought drinks and one person in our group had a stomach ache and they wouldn’t let us use their washroom washroom. I’ll be reporting this complaint to Fraser Health unless they change their policy ASAP!
Real mango tea tastes like tropical fruit syrup, matcha with sea salt cream has a slimy texture. Won't recommend at all. I went pretty late on the day tho.

I love the drink in slothful even though I am not the bubble tea lover. They also serve very delicious soft ice cream. I highly recommend this shop for everyone. The peach green tea that I have was so tasty. They use really fruit to make the fruit tea. If you are a bubble tea lover don’t miss this store.
