“The best and most authentic Taiwanese restaurant I have had in a long time. I loved everything about this shop. The meal truly felt home cooked. I loved that the set came with sweet black tea (you have the option of a miso soup or iced black tea), which was delicious and the right amount of sweetness. We ordered the sweet and sour fish on rice set, the spicy eggplant rice set, the braised pork rice, and a plate of Taiwanese fried chicken to share. Every bite was perfection. I would absolutely come again and don’t forget to bring cash to avoid paying the credit card surcharge!“

“I had a pretty good experience overall. The highlight for me was definitely the fish cutlet — it tasted super fresh and was honestly the best dish we ordered.
The chicken nugget fried rice used to be my absolute favorite growing up, but this time the flavor was a bit disappointing compared to how I remembered it. The Dan Dan noodles were alright — not bad, just not standout.
That said, the portions are still very big, which is always a plus. Solid spot overall, with some hits and a few misses“

“I must have been there over a dozen times. I tried many things on their menu.
In general their chicken dishes are all very tasty! The beef in the curry beef or the beef noodle are also tender and juicy, however the noodle was less impressive but decent. The Taiwanese style 卤肉饭 was not bad but my friend really dislike the 红烧肉饭。
If I have to complain about something, it’s one of the side dishes in the combo. Boiled broccoli was okay (not a big fan of broccoli either but it’s okay as broccoli), BUT the stir fried glass noodle was …. pretty bad…really. I will ask for two sides of broccoli next time when I order combo.“

“I am pleasantly surprised by this place. Good food, fast service, no frills eatery. The salt-pepper popcorn chicken Taiwanese style rice was top 5 out of 5 quality.
Price is also fair, though at $20 per dish almost, the portions are large and yummy. Don’t expect anything fancy but standard and reliable Taiwanese comfort food.
Service is quick and no non-sense. Also, they give the option of 10% tips when checkout. This is a breathing way to allow diners to choose.
Heard that originally the place was Korean-Taiwanese food, operated by a Korean and Taiwanese couple. Then was passed on to a new Taiwanese boss, then now to their 2nd generation. At least that’s what the staff member told me. So they’ve been at this location for long, just with a new style and twist.
I will be back - 5 out of 5.“
