“Always great food n service“

“Cookies Grill is the perfect restaurant for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or even Dinner. When I looked up its menu on Google, I knew I had to try their food. When I got there on a Monday, the establishment was packed, which says a lot about its thriving business. I got to try the S'More Croffle from their monthly menu and it was incredible. This may just be my favourite breakfast item. This meal came with bacon that was superb and eggs that were consistently good. The coffee was top notch and went great with everything else. Also, the coffee is free if you have it with a breakfast choice. The service was excellent; well-mannered, and they checked on you often. My only problem or nitpick about this restaurant is that it is far from where I live and it is in an obscured part of Chilliwack where you would not think to go. Nonetheless, I would love to come back to Cookies Grill and try their other menu choices. I am very happy for this restaurant's success.“

“Now i have already given this place a 5 star review on google in the past, but after last night I wish I could give more stars. We celebrated our oldest child's graduation here last night, it was amazing. The service was absolutely amazing, our server, Jewel, had the best energy. She gave great recommendations and feed back. She remembered allergies and sensitivities. She was also very patient with my elderly grandmother. The drinks and food was absolutely delicious. Large selection of gluten-free options. “Picked up a hot lunch order today for 100+ students and Hugo’s staff went above and beyond. Everything was correct, kids were happy, food was hot and ready when we arrived. Highly recommend for future hot lunches! Manager even delivered extra chips to the school in case we were short. 👌🏼“

“Had dinner here this last weekend i was quite impressed. The food was amazing and the price was fair. The staff was very good when it came to explaining exactly what we were looking to order. They attended the table the perfect amount during our visit. As a bonus the serving size was big enough that both the girlfriend and I had lunch for the next day. Will be making a point to return!“

But mostly our server Louie was absolutely amazing she really catered to us it was my mother's 60th birthday tonight and they handled all of us so well all the grandkids that were screaming and running around they dealt with that really well. Just such friendly staff all around. The manager was absolutely great she was so amazing and I meant to give her the girl that did our birthday cake I gave her the wrong last name it was Haliey McPherson that did the cake for my mother.“

“A nice spot for a nightcap. Unfortunately, the bartender had to step away for a few minutes, which disrupted the flow of the evening a little and ultimately led me to take my order to go.

That said, it was a minor hiccup, and I still enjoyed the experience. Sometimes the timing just doesn’t work out perfectly, but overall, it was still a pleasant way to end the night.“

“Corbin is a terrific host/manager of this location! He made sure our reservation was what we needed and greeted us with a smile and excellent service! Our server Kylie was also terrific, she was sweet, quick and a wonderful young lady. Kudos to the staff having all our drinks and meals out swiftly and all at the same time, impressive when there were 8 of us👏👏👏 we will absolutely be back to your location again.

“An absolute hidden gem for fresh sashimi in Chilliwack!

During our trip to Chilliwack, BC, we were desperately craving fresh salmon sashimi and toro. We felt incredibly lucky to find Gon Sushi, one of the very few spots in town to satisfy that craving, and it completely delivered.

The owner, a wonderfully pleasant Korean lady, greeted us with some of the best hospitality we’ve experienced. We had a lovely chat with her about our search for great sashimi while waiting for our to-go order, and her genuine warmth made the visit special. The restaurant space itself is tiny, but it is simple, welcoming, and spotlessly clean.

When we opened our to-go boxes, we were absolutely thrilled. The salmon and toro sashimi cuts were incredibly fresh and generously thick, beautifully arranged alongside kale and radish. As an incredibly kind gesture, the owner even included an extra piece of toro and two comforting miso soups completely on the house!

Between the fantastic price point, the top-tier freshness of the fish, and the phenomenal customer service, we couldn't be happier. We would absolutely eat here again without hesitation. Highly recommend! 💗💗💗“

“Went there just before last call, so experience was likely affected by that. Food was still good, service was lovely, just felt like we had to eat and leave quickly so we could allow them to close.

All i can say the food was awesome and the niciest staff ever.For all the negative people go eat at a fast food place. this place has charm and a nice place to chill, good tasting food takes time. Its not full serve , so there will be no server to bug you. I will be back.“

“Came for the all you can eat and the food quality was quite good. I went with the cheaper premium as more expensive one, you can only have limited sashimi/nigiri 15pcs exactly... But even omitting nigiri/sashimi, the rolls were really good and sushi rice was cooked and seasoned really well. Fish were fresh as well. Kitchen food were all amazing especially shrimp tempura. Service was spot on and had decent atmosphere in the restaurant.
Washrooms were clean and overall restaurant was clean as well.“

“We used to eat here weekly, no lie! Since 2016! We would always bring guests here for dinners and tell everyone how great they are. The food and service was amazing! We noticed over the years the prices went up and portions got smaller and every time we got take out they would always leave the rice out, when it came with the dinner box. Not sure why they would do that considering rice is the least expensive thing on the menu. It happened more than twice. I would also like to mention the .50cent charge for the take out bag when placing a to go order which they never charged for bags before and never told me on the phone, which was very upsetting being a regular here. They just added it on without saying anything which they probably get the bag for Pennie’s… that was very upsetting.The quality of food was not very fresh aswell it went downhill…We stopped coming here for years! Today after 6 years of not coming to maru sushi, we decided to give them a second chance, and I’m telling you service and food was back like 2016! Yes prices have changed but the food portions qaulity and freshness was on point! If you guys keep this up, people will come back regularly! Just one word of advice, I understand the waitresses are busy, but they seem stressed you can see it and feel it. It should be a more calm pace not feeling like everything has to be rushed, people go out to relax and enjoy their time out. Thank you“
