“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently discovered Kobo Japanese Grill & Cafe, and I can't believe it's been around for 25 years without me knowing! Tucked away in Hope, this place is truly a hidden gem. I was immediately impressed by the exceptional service and delicious food, both of which deserve a solid 5 stars.The atmosphere might not be the most glamorous, but it's completely fine, and the incredible food more than makes up for it. My dining experience here was fantastic. I started with the prawn tempura, which was fresh and had a perfect, light batter. The dumplings, or gyoza, were amazing – full of flavor and just the right texture. The sushi rolls were incredibly fresh, showcasing the quality of ingredients they use. I also enjoyed an Asahi Japanese beer, which was a great complement to the meal.One of the standout features of Kobo is the speed of their food preparation. Everything came out super fast, yet the quality was top-notch. The owners are lovely people, making the experience even more enjoyable. The outdoor patio seating is a nice touch, especially on a pleasant day.After years of passing through Hope and being disappointed with the local restaurant options, I'm thrilled to have found Kobo Japanese Grill & Cafe.
