“Great pizzas, definitely a smoked and crispy flavour in the ingredients and crust. Chicken cubes were very tasty and blended well with mushrooms and red onions. Staff was friendly and patient. What we found unacceptable was the place serving 2-litre sodas and didn’t offering any glasses whatsoever for clients eating there! Plastic, glass, nada. We had to drink the soda straight from the bottle, which was uncomfortable to say the least.”

“Stopped by for lunch on a rainy Saturday in November. It wasn't busy when we arrived and the service was prompt and friendly. The salmon burger and fries were excellent; it was wild caught salmon and was perfectly cooked. My friend had the burger and fries and that was also very good size portion and tasty. The island farms ice cream was very good as well and the scoops are really big. We also ordered americanos and they were excellent. Don't let the quirky statues and carvings deter you from stopping by for breakfast, lunch, coffee or ice cream.”

We started with crab cakes they were so good! Then I had the seafood pasta the amount of scallops prawns was awesome they definitely weren't skimpy on the seafood and the presentation was great! Then the dessert we had a free birthday dessert which was the sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream! The service was good, friendly, fast and the establishment was clean! “4 of us went there last week (2 from Comox and 2 from Nanaimo) and the food was incredible. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. We just wish we weren’t so rushed, it really took away from our night out. We were told we only had 1.5 hrs which was no problem. She reminded us continuously throughout the meal and after an hr asked us if we were ready for our bill. We told her we were thinking about having a dessert (which was pre-made) and she sighed and looked at her watch! She brought the dessert and we scarfed it so fast and just got out of there. We tipped well because who knows if the pressure was coming from the kitchen, but we left with 20 mins to spare and a whole lot of empty tables there. Recommend if you aren’t meeting others and are in a hurry.”
