We've been coming here for years. This place has really delicious, fresh food. The servers are friendly and the restaurant is clean.
We live pretty far away but still come all the way here because it's worth the drive :)

Deer Garden Restaurant offers outstanding Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. The sweet and sour pork is a standout dish, and the XO sauce beef fried rice noodle and fish cake corners with soup noodle are highly recommended. The place is clean and comfortable, with friendly service. While the menu, especially the specials, may be primarily in Chinese, the food is praised for its authenticity and quality, with good portions and value. Despite occasional service challenges during busy times, Deer Garden has become known as one of the best Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurants in the Coquitlam area, rivaling even those in Richmond.
