Kaiko sushi & japanese restaurant

My hubby and I went to this Japanese restaurant. The restaurant can serve about 25-30 people if full, there is only one person to serve as not many people during weekdays. We have ordered the dobin mushi, the soup is flavourful mainly with shrimp taste. The food stuffed on the top of the pot can eat, don’t throw it away. This restaurant exudes a serene ambiance within its cozy confines. The sushi is fresh, almost comparable to the authenticity of sushi I've tasted in Japan. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Nonetheless, the overall quality of the food and service can be somewhat erratic due to limited staffing - a single sushi chef behind the counter, one chef working in the kitchen, and a lone server. As such, during peak hours, the dining experience may not reach its full potential.

It was our first time trying Kaiko Sushi and it was delicious! My husband said it was the best agedashi tofu he has tried. The rolls were very fresh and tasty. We loved the green roll and kaiko special roll. Presentation was lovely as well.
