“The only downside of our experience was how hot it was in the restaurant. The food and service were great. They are so polite and attentive. Everything tastes amazing. The temperature inside was very warm and we left with flush cheeks and carrying our hoodies and coats.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Decided to walk in on a whim and accidentally found the most amazing place on the island - we were travelling by RV with my two tired and worn out kids and stepped into a little piece of heaven. The owners made us feel like family and the food was some of the best we've ever had. Could not recommend this place more, don't miss it! The only downside is that they're not in my city :D“
“Went today for the first time since it changed ownership. I had always found it only mediocre before. Today was amazing. The server was amazing…polite, friendly, went above and beyond. Our perogies were delicious and it was the best cabbage roll I’ve ever had (apart from my own mother’s! lol and I’m very picky about cabbage rolls). It was my son’s 12th birthday and all he wanted was perogies and this did not disappoint! We will be back and spreading the word. Thank you so much ❤️“
“I love Mudsharks so much. Their bowls and coffee are really good and I feel like they really have figured out how to run a good cafe here in the valley. The cafe is both a healthy social space for those meeting up with others for coffee or food, but they also have supported space for those of us who work from home. Sometimes it can be really isolating and hard to focus, and I get nervous trying new cafes because sometimes they don't allow laptops (even if it isn't busy). I appreciate Mudsharks for allowing space for us to work here–there are a lot of us who really appreciate it.“

Came on a night where the WhiteSpot Legendary Burger was on sale when paired with a drink. The gentleman who welcomed me was friendly and struck up a nice convo. Service was prompt and food was served hot. Would definitely come back especially since their fries are bottomless. That alone is worth the trip if you are craving a good burger on a good deal! “This is our new favourite restaurant in the Comox Valley. There were four of us, and everything was delectable. We started with oysters and Caesar salad, and had the lamb, chicken and two different seafood dishes. It was all done to perfection, including the presentation. The Chef brought us out a waldorf salad sampler, which was also very tasty. Our server, Josephine was lovely and provided exceptional service. This is an incredible fine dining experience, but the portions are quite substantial. We will be back.“
“Have been going here for years, Whenever we go to the island. Went again recently after having not been in 4+ years.The Donair is still the best I have had. You can not get this authenticity except to maybe go to Nova Scotia. ?We felt completely at home, as our food was being made we were engaged with great conversations. “Boston pizza is a classic for small or large gatherings, with decent food and great service it rarely disappoints. although there spaghetti is often blande and meatballs somewhat unpalatable, the rest of the menu is very nice, also opening my eyes to the potential of vegetarian pizzas with Zorba the Greek, a very nice pizza ?.“
