“I had a great burger and experience at Q-burger. The owner was very kind and helpful and my server was sweet and very kind. The burger was amazing balls! There were so many good looking burgers to choose from so I’ll have to go back again!“
“Lefty's Parksville located in a busy strip mall next to a thrifty supermarket. This restaurant is quite busy. The decor is industrial style. The choices are one step over sport bar type of place. The staff is somewhat friendly and the service is quick. The host was great but the server was a bit rude. I guess they were hoping we were ordering lots to drink as they were disappointed when we ordered just water. The food, portions are pretty good. I ordered the Hipster sandwich which was pretty good. The fries also pretty good. Overall decent place“
“Tried for the first time. Friendly environment, clean and obvious pride taken with presentation and quality. Customer service and definitely return.Noticed the owner has wonderful sense of humor and very kind heart towards customers. Couldn't finish homemade burger as so filling, had to take for a snack as too good to leave behind.“
“How could you ever have a better combination? Airplanes, friendly service and great food all in one place. Our go to place when we are in the area. I’m sure this will soon be #1 in Qualicum. The only hitch is that if you go, you may not get a table during peak hours. This place is busy because it’s good.“
“Really nice, friendly coffee shop. Easy to access with street parking out front and a few parking spaces at the back off West 2nd Street. The staff are gracious even when very busy, and the beautiful courtyard tucked away at the back has lovely seating and landscaping. My scone was fresh and delicious. My cappuccino was nice but not excellent. I would rate it a 7/10. It was closer to a latte in strength and it had chocolate sprinkled on top (not what coffee snobs like me expect). The only other drawback was the easy-listening rock music (playing at a moderate volume). They did turn it down at my request but it was turned back up after five minutes. I would have preferred just to sit quietly listening to the birds. But don’t let those two minor points deter you from visiting: it’s a lovely spot and I’ll certainly be back.“
