“We made the trek from Kelowna specifically to try out Mel’s pizza.
The food was excellent! Fresh toppings, handmade pizza dough….
Love the small town feel and the cozy “ hole in the wall “ atmosphere of this pizza place. Highly recommend and will be coming back. Owner had a beautiful disposition. Friendly and kind. Was even interested in the story as to why we came. We will be back! Especially for drive in nights!!“

“Had to make an unscheduled stop in Armstrong due to a broken windshield. Decided not to linger around the business and opted for some sightseeing instead. Came across a pizza place and thought it would be a good idea to give it a try.

Upon entering, I noticed that the establishment was clean and not particularly busy at the time. However, I could see a man in the kitchen area, who was in the process of preparing a pizza.

After washing his hands, he approached us in a pleasant manner and inquired if we knew what we wanted to order. I asked about the sombrero pizza, specifically whether the beef contained any onions, and he replied in the negative.

We placed an order for a sombrero pizza and were informed that it would take approximately 30 minutes to prepare. We decided to take a walk and returned in 20 minutes to find that our order was ready.“
