If well prepared good food served up in record time by people who actually care, all in a laid back relaxed atmosphere, then this place will likely become a regular for you. My wife & i both work in the equestrian industry (she's an equine therapist, i transport horses, & we both provide emergency response for large animals), we don't get to spend much time at sit-down dinners, but whenever we get the chance, stopping at the Shady Tree is always a pleasant break. We've been there maybe half a dozen times over the past couple of years, and in all of those times we have yet to come up with a single complaint.”

“Food is delicious and fresh. Not greasy but tasty. That’s what matters. Atmosphere is dingy and old. Since Covid they no longer serve you but will allow you to eat “food court style” inside their building. Space heaters keep you warm. The receptionist is friendly, kind, and approachable”

“We were looking for something local and fun after a day of hiking. Google found this hidden gem and what fun it was. It felt like we were in someones basement who had turned it into a place where all can hang. So many cider options, and the friendly young woman pouring and educating us could not have been a better ambassador. Even the locals who were enjoying a pint joined in on helping us decide what to go options we had. It was absolutely delicious and we will be back. “Met the owner during a day trip to squamish to climb. Honestly, I've never met someone so willing and open to share about coffee as him. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about his coffee and it shows! Had an excellent batch brew that easily beats most of the pour overs from other third wave cafes. Went tonight again and had the chicken bowl and the tuna bowl and they were even better this time! Super fresh and tasty, good amount of protein, veggies and sauce.
