“Great stop. Was driving through on way to Banff. Food and service was good - staff were all really pleasant. Patio was really nice with the river in the back. We had beet and baba ganoush dip (highly recommend), beef dip (what you want in a beef dip, could be a bit bigger), poutine (solid portion and pretty good) and pulled pork sandwich (this was decent) and ceasar (bit too much dressing for my liking, but the flavors were good). Overall would recommend.“

“Great place to stop and have some food! Hashbrowns are better than the ones on the west coast for some reason. Too many employees but order taking is slow, parking is kind of challenging with drive through etc but overall great place to rest and east.
Parking: Roughly 20 or so with drive through in the middle.
Kid-friendliness: Big space for kids to move around but there is not a kid specific area“

“Visited yesterday, They were packed with a sign saying under staffed due to fire activity. Well the staff worked very well in the midst of the amount of orders coming through.
Very calm team that worked well together and as efficient as possible given the situation I did however have to wait a long time for my order but worth it. The food was hot and delicious. I had the mushroom burger for the first time. Probably the best out there.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu“

“Really nice diner.
In the town of Golden in the Rockies region of Canada.
There is a large selection of dishes. and excellent beers.
The place is really nicely decorated in my opinion, reminiscent of diners in the United States.
The staff is nice and pleasant.
The location of the diner is really good, it's on a main road so it's easy to get there.
I slept in the hotel right behind it (Suisse Village Hotel) so I was close to reaching the restaurant almost every meal :)“

“First off, this McDonalds location always delivers. It is top notch for service and quality. I dug into the Big Arch to see if it reached a level that I feel it needed to for this chain. In my opinion it needed to pack as much punch as a Baconator or Carl’s Jr. burger. Big. Tasty and meaty. McDonalds needs this to be a slam dunk burger. It is not. It is merely fine. The bun adds nothing. The cheese is almost undetectable. The meat patty’s, while much bigger than the Big Mac and Quarter Pounder, are flat and almost tasteless. The lettuce and pickles are acceptable and slightly add to the taste profile. I liked the sauce. It is a mix between Mac sauce and the Firecracker sauce. A great hybrid. The absolute standout of the burger are the crispy onion straws. They absolutely save this from being very disappointing. Throughout the eating process I was waiting for this burger to smack my mouth with the juicy, massive flavour I expected. It did not come, save for the onion straws and, to a degree, the sauce. Overall this is an ok offering. Based on the hype and expectations for what this needed to be, it fails. Not spectacularly, but large enough where this might not be good news for this chain moving forward.“

“Wow! What a great find! We enjoyed the bison ribs and the tatonka burger, bacon cheese burger, shrimp salad, and ceaser salad. The food was good, and only loses one star because the protein on the salads were both cold and our 'tweens didn't like that. Overall, great vibe and fantastic service!“
