The food was grossly overpriced for what we ate for lunch. Chicken burger was dry, grilled cheese was burnt and way too much cheese, beef burger was good. Service was slow. Excellent view of the mountain.
Awesome experience! Lucky to get a beautiful sunny day and a perfect window table. Food and drinks great as was the service. A more relaxing music choice would enhance the ambiance.
Best place to eat at Kicking Horse Resort. Incredible views and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the smoke meat sandwich it was 10/10. The staff are super friendly also! Love that they have lots of non alcoholic options too.
We had a simple lunch in the middle of our ski day. Was excellent food and excellent service.
If you want one big plate that will happily feed 4 order the nachos. Huge & delicious complete with 3 sides _ sour cream, guacamole, salsa. Skip the dry chicken cubes on offer as an extra.
If you do decide to eat her do not make a reservation at the end of the night. They will serve you the left overs from noon. Appetizers were the highlight of the meal, ordered the bison tenderloin and proceeded to receive 2 small slices of way under cooked meat, no where near the 8oz serving offered. Along with half the veggies missing off the plate the ones that did arrive were so stale and obviously reheated from hours before. The server was fantastic and the location was beautiful. Minus the blizzard so never really got the whole view

You can't beat the view but the meals were disappointing. Pot pie with a token wedge of pastry, salty beef & gravy over tiny Yorkshire puddings. The fries are excellent but salt seems to be a major favour choice.
It's a very nice restaurant with an amazing view and delicious food. I definitely recommend it in two cases: if you're skiing or snowboarding. Even if you're not, it's still worth going up just to eat there.
I think the gondala and the views would be the only good thing about this restaurant. We came during a blizzard on a dark night however. So a view wasn’t an option. The service was slow, inconsistent, the server forgot to bring our drinks. Our starters came out suspiciously fast, yet stone cold. Every single one of the dishes had something wrong with them. Risotto was pure salt and mush. $35 for 3 store bought tasting scallops. The arancini were freezer burnt. My clams were half closed (for anyone who doesn’t know, that means they’re rotten because they’ve been dead for too long). All the flavours were just off in every way. The fish was an overcooked brick. The bison was mushy? Not sure how that’s a thing. Skip this restaurant entirely. Better yet, take it down and put something cooler here like an activity centre.

Very bad . They are not open. No gondola every closed. Please mention this on the site.
The Eagle Eye is closed due to no access due to the Kicking Horse Gondola not operating. My reservation and all reservations have been canceled since the day the gondola went down. Not sure why I got a reminder and this review request when the restaurant is not even operating?
We decided to visit the Eagle Eye restaurant, where we were pleasantly surprised to find that we could get a table without any prior reservation. If you choose to dine without booking ahead, the menu is limited to beverages, but we were eager to enjoy something warm. The hot chocolate was absolutely delightful, rich and creamy, a perfect indulgence to warm us up. The atmosphere at Canada’s highest restaurant was vibrant, with stunning views that added to our experience. We truly had a wonderful time soaking in the sights and savouring our drinks, making it an unforgettable outing in such a unique setting. Overall, our visit was a charming and memorable adventure.

We celebrated our son's Birthday and Neil, our server, was excellent, friendly, helpful and made the lunch experience very enjoyable! And the view speaks for itself!
