Just a good place with good food, staff and coffee.
Best bread in town! Could not stop eating. Double black is definitely our top go to place for food, coffee and now also bread 😍

Double Black Coffee Shop and Bar is a beautiful place at the base of the resort. The food, coffee, and sweets are always delicious. The food is first class with great portions at a reasonable price. The brisket burger tastes unbelievably good, though the sauce on the underside of the bun made it unnecessarily messy. The pizza is amazing, easily the favourite pizza in Golden, competing with the best. The John's Toasty and Chicken Panini are also delicious. Great views of the mountains. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent, though the line can be a little long. This is the most fun restaurant at Kicking Horse and the best food ever.
