“No trip to the local farmers market is complete without first grabbing a coffee from Jamie at Wandering Fern. She's providing Golden amazing services and her coffee is incredible. It's worth tracking her down if you are visiting town, or making her a part of your day as a local. Thanks Jamie for keeping us deliciously alert!“
“EXCELLENT food and service. We ordered burrito, Chickpea curry and samosas (which were surprisingly a hit ) . A great lunch spot to try out instead of the usual typical choices. Also a MUST TRY for vegetarians and vegans as there are plenty of options.“
“Double Black was recommended to us by a worker at the hill. It was excellent for lunch. We had the Chicken Panini and the chocolate crepes. Both were excellent. The coffees and deserts looked great too.Kid-friendliness: There lots of kids when we were there.“
“This is one of my favorite bookstores I’ve been to. It has a fantastic and unique collection of used and new books — but the standout here is the staff. I came in while on a ski trip and the woman behind the register (I think she’s a manager of some sort) gave me the most phenomenal book recommendations and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The three books I bought were some of my favorites I’ve ever read—if you find yourself here definitely give it a visit!“
“Small informal setting. Big patio would be great in summer. In March we stayed inside! Wonderful old photographs line the walls. Also some politically incorrect signs, but all in fun. Good food, big servings, friendly and efficient staff. We'll go there again.“
“I traveled to Golden. It was close to where I stayed. Friendly staff and a place with great coffee. The Americano had coffee ice cubes. Isn't that interesting? Also, the London Fog was delicious. I went there again the next day with high expectations. The matcha latte was also very tasty. If you get a chance, you should definitely try their coffee and tea.“
“My partner and I make sure to visit Ethos café whenever we're in Golden and you should too! There coffee programme was wicked. We had a very tasty natural Ethiopian espresso from Holm Coffee and a banging Colombian drip from Rooftop. On the shelf they also had retail bags from Dose Coffee and Alternate Route, so safe to say the selection of coffee to grab is on point! The food was not only delicious, but filling as well. Proper, proper value. You can tell this team cares and everything being local is the cherry on top. Local mushrooms, local greens and local hot sauce. My mushroom on toast was top notch and my partner loved her avo toast which thankfully, was no ordinary avo toast.Service was with a smile, everyone seems to appreciate the space and if you're a family with a young one you'll feel very comfortable bringing your kid in as these people go above and beyond for families.Last but not least.. if you don't leave with a sourdough and croissant, you're doing it wrong!“
