“If you are looking for a culinary delight this is the place to go. I was very apprehensive because of the tasting menu price, especially in light of the fact that I had no idea what I was going to get. Both my husband and I had one of the most fabulous food experiences of our lives. Everything was perfect. I have an allergy and they made my evening worry free. Food, ambience, service and wine were all exceptional! Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for and the money spent was well worth every penny. We will go back. Thank you Jen for being wonderful.”

“Amazing food. We come to the Sunshine Coast every year and make sure we stop here at least twice each trip. We’ve never had a bad experience - we normally stick with the burgers and fish and chips and have yet to be disappointed. If you’re coming during lunch be prepared for a wait- but don’t get deterred, it’s worth it. Staff have always been friendly and it’s a stop the whole family looks forward to. Thanks for continually being a great place to stop for lunch!”

“We both had the Sunshine Burger and one side of fries. There was a 30 minute wait so we took a stroll. The burgers were worth the wait. Very fresh and delicious! I would recommend for sure. The fries were yummy but a very small portion for 7$ extra.”

“I lived in Phoenix for a while and got to know Mexican food. Been looking for it Canada for 30 years in vain until Aqui es Mexico! Absolutely delicious. Love the food truck in Davis Bay too! All that scrumptiousness and the view too. Coming up for food and music love that idea. My new favourite restaurant.”

“Great local pizza place, I suspect one of the only pizza shops in the area. We stopped by for a large pizza. The guy who helped us was very friendly and has the patience of a saint. Food was good and reasonably priced given the remoteness of the location.”

“Cute locally owned cafe we stumbled upon that was close to our air Bnb. Had a nice chat with the owner and noticed she was working with a foot brace on! Turns out she broke her foot and somehow, she still manages to come in with positive vibes and have bubbly conversations with customers. Talk about dedication! And it really shows you how much love and effort she puts into this place. The harbour fog was delicious with the most amazing creamy texture, and the iced coffee my spouse had was on par with all the fancy iced coffees I’ve tried all around Vancouver! Happily will visit again next time we are on the coast.”

“Read the reviews and wanted to give it a try for ourselves. Very much a local spot for comfort food. Everything in the town is expensive because of the remote location. You get what you pay for. I felt it was completely fair to pay $8 for a breakfast wrap heated up. Food was pretty good, I wasn’t expecting 5 star service or food. Server was very kind and just clearly is a quiet person, not intentionally rude as some of the other comments suggest.”
