“I recently visited A&W and had an excellent experience! The food was delicious—everything from their classic root beer to the burgers and fries was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to help. They made sure my order was correct and even checked in to see if I needed anything else. I highly recommend this A&W location. “It’s hard to resist a traditional A&W Root Beer in the heat of the summer! This location in the heart of Kelowna across from Orchard Park mall was worth taking the time to right a review! There are a lot of tempting new menu items and new drinks too and I really should come back for some of those but on a hot day I REALLY just wanted an icy cold root beer! I did go a further stretch and had the latest frozen root beer and it is a struggle which one to pick now! Along with the rootbeer I the classic cut fries were great and I think it was maybe the owner / franchisee serving us. I should have got her name. She was awesome. This may be fast food but she paid complete attention to customer service and made my day. I also noticed that she did the same with each of the guests following us and then made her rounds in the restaurant tidying up and getting things back in order between guests. Everything was very clean. The food was hot and the drinks cold.“

“location, location, location. iv tried 3 times to stop in for a burger. and there is no parking for that building. the back is full of staff vehicles and the side streets is no parking loading zone. where do you expect costumers to park?“

“I had never been here before but I had a glass of wine and the pulled pork sandwich (I subbed regular fries for the waffle fries) which were both really good. The bun was toasted so it had a nice crunch to it! Some of the pulled pork was a bit dry at times but other than that no complaints about the food. The inside is really cute with Christmas lights strong across the restaurant from side to side and anything and everything you can imagine plastered all over the walls.. there's a lot to look at if you're there by yourself! Only complaint about the atmosphere was the mosquitoes and fruit flies... but I was sitting by the window so this could be the reason for that.“

“This will definitely be our go to place for burgers from now on. The service was excellent, the food very fresh, and the place was clean. Won' t be going to the DQ across the street anymore for anything, as the people there have such horrible customer service, and your product is only as good as the service. This A and W, was such a nice surprise to finally find a fast food restaurant in Kelowna where the owners care about the product they put out, and the quality.

“This evening at Brown’s, we had the most wonderful time, as alway! It’s our regular spot! This evening a lovely young fellow by the name of Jack, took care of us. He was exceptional! Welcoming, friendly, and kind right from the start. As the evening progressed, he continued to be genuine, funny, thoughtful, and great to have a conversation with. “Absolutely brilliant staff.
A local shop was hosting a car show and the McCurdy plaza became the overflow parking. A large portion of the people in attendance, myself included, flooded the restaurant and the staff handled it with ease. It was pretty busy when I was in there and even so the food came out relatively quickly and I could see the drive thru flowing at a normal pace.
There wasn't a single complaint or groan from anyone and they worked together as a seamless team to get everyone their food still piping hot.
When I let them know they were out of straws they were topped up within the next 30 seconds.
Briefly chatted with one young gentleman as he was making milkshakes and he mentioned he was supposed to be off and home by then but stayed to help out with the rush. Huge thanks to him. I didn't catch his name, but I hope he is able to get some extra praise along with everyone else.

“To our surprise Monday nights are Trivia Nights starting at 6pm. We hadn't planned Longshots for our dinner, but we were very happy we ended up here. Our server, Brooke, was amazing. We had the Black N Blue Burger, Salmon Burger (filet) and tempura shrimp tacos at our table. All were very good and would order any of these items again. The beet salad as a side was very good too. We participated in the Trivia Night and had lots of fun. Seating is comfortable and tables aren't crowded.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator from main floor of casino to get you right to Longshots entrance. Washroom also available on restaurant level which is wheelchair accessible.“

“I just had a really pleasant experience at DQ on HWY 33 with an employee. I think their name was Cheston but I've waited to long to write this. When I was greeted via drive-through speaker, the employee was exceptionally helpful, kind and they went over and above answering my questions and figuring out the information regarding what I was needing very quickly. Though I don't work in fast food anymore, I did manage a restaurant, and I feel that I am qualified to state that what I experienced was really excellent customer service. In times like these people are stressed and on edge, but after I left I reflected on this small interaction... and it made a huge difference in my day. My 2 single burgers for$5 were nice too. :) Thanks.“

“I'm obsessed with my favorite blizzard from dairy Queen!! This is a good dairy queen only reason for the 4 stars is because the drive thru at this location is a little confusing and sometimes causes a bit of a confusion amoung drivers. Update: still love dairy Queen! Still obsessed with my fave blizzard! Each dairyqueen will have diff prices then the next one cuz I guess they are independently owned. I think the one on Lakeshore might be the cheapest“
