“I recently visited Cactus Club Cafe in Kelowna, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The location on Water Street is great, especially if you want a nice view of Okanagan Lake while you eat. The atmosphere is modern and stylish, and I loved the open air dining area, it’s perfect for warmer days.

The food was delicious! I tried a few dishes, and everything was presented beautifully and tasted fresh and flavorful. The Truffle Fries were a highlight, and the variety on the menu made it hard to choose just one thing. Their drinks are also worth checking out, the cocktail I had was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal.

The service was solid too. They were all friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed.

The only downside I noticed is that it’s on the pricier side which I expected for a premium casual dining spot, and it can get a bit busy during peak hours too!

All in all, I’d recommend Cactus Club Cafe if you want tasty food, a good vibe, and a great lakeside view. I’ll definitely be back with family and more friends!“

“We had lunch at the Cactus Club today April 12, 2022. The location is great because parking is not a problem. Food was amazing and our server, Raeya, was outstanding. She greeted us with a most beautiful smile and warm welcome. Service was consistently good throughout the meal and Raeya was readily available. “Had a fabulous birthday lunner! Services by Sunny was amazing, she was very attentive. The food was delicious, steak and sushi a delightful combo. Steak was done perfectly in a spicy ponzu sauce. The spicy California roll was delightful! The aburi Salmon roll was delicate and also delicious. The flavours were outstanding! Highly recommend it! Of course their pumpkin pie with chantilly cream is the best around. The view of the lake on a sunny fall day is spectacular.“

“This evening at Brown’s, we had the most wonderful time, as alway! It’s our regular spot! This evening a lovely young fellow by the name of Jack, took care of us. He was exceptional! Welcoming, friendly, and kind right from the start. As the evening progressed, he continued to be genuine, funny, thoughtful, and great to have a conversation with. “Very fresh and professionally wrapped for delivery. these guys are running a clean operation. couldn't believe how well it was all packaged together. The pita was sealed so well. I couldn't even find an edge where they even started. The ingredients were also fresh and delicious. the Donaire sauce was really good. so was the sweet sauce. it all came together so beautifully. teen was excellent. so are the side of potatoes I got.

The Donaire Large Beef Donair Pita Wrap was so well prepared and had a lot of weight to it. it was a good amount of food.

Good portions. definitely going to order again

“I just loved the ambience and decor. It's very quirky & interesting. Service is friendly & fun, although could do with a bit more attention to detail - eg. Sticky sauce spilled on our table and wasn't cleaned up. We had the Dim Sum, Bass, ribs & duck spring rolls. All were very tasty but none outstanding.“

“Last year the bakery changed hands, and its gotten even better. The staff are great to help with selections. Breads buns Deserts of all types, even gluten free options. Great sausage rolls, Ham and Cheese Croisants. If you want a custom cake for a party or birthday their selections are fantastic.“

“Craft Beer Market was a wonderful experience! My boss ordered the chicken burger with parmesan fries and so I did get the same thing and while the burger was delicious and filling, I think the fries could be even better with a little extra parmesan magic (a touch of more cheese would make them irresistible 😅).

But honestly, what truly made the visit outstanding was the service. Our server went above and beyond, she is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference and turned a good meal into a great overall experience. Because of the amazing service, this visit definitely deserves 5 stars. I’ll gladly come back to explore more of the menu!“

“I had the pancake and egg breakfast at Cora and was blown away by how good it was! The pancakes were perfectly fluffy, the eggs seasoned just right, and everything was served hot. The restaurant was very clean, with a fresh and bright atmosphere. The staff made me feel welcome and provided excellent service. I left full, happy.“

“This was the first time my wife and I have been to the Eldorado for dinner. We were very impressed from the moment we entered the room. We were seated promptly and our waiter came by shortly after with a "happy anniversary " greeting. Very impressive indeed. The service all evening was exceptional and the food was very delicious. “Lots of reviews about captain Mike, but the star of our cruise was another member! I wish I could remember her name (Noah or something of the sort) she spoke with us for quite some time as the speaker system was broken, and we couldn't hear any of the info being shared. She also gave some wonderful recommendations about where to go for the next few days of our vacation! Very personable and knowledgeable! We loved getting beautiful pictures, and just having a peaceful time on the water. Lots of kids screaming where we were on the lower level, but I guess that just comes with the territory.“

“Overall Analog is a great spot for a quick grab and go coffee. Seating is a bit tight, but they do have plug-ins which I’m a fan of. The space can get a bit loud, but the ceilings and natural light help to make up for that! I got a mocha and sandwich and was happy with it. Both were really tasty, but the prices for food did feel a bit high for what I got! That said, I will be back for a grab and go coffee on the way to the beach this summer!“

Monday night. The pub sat lakeside, quiet in the off-season. A few men, alone in their routines, nursed their drinks like a dying habit. The air was thick with words, their voices loud enough to cover the silence that lived in all of them, as they tried to fix the world with opinions too worn to matter anymore.

Then the door opened.

A stranger stepped in. Not from around here. You could tell by the way his coat settled over his shoulders, by the shine of his watch that caught the bar light. Generous. Alone. Drunk.

He slid onto a stool near the locals, slapped a black metal card on the bar.

“I’m buying. What’ll it be?”

The men didn’t hesitate. Beers. Shots. The ritual.

They drank like men wandering through a desert, desperate for something to fill them, knowing it wouldn’t be enough. The whiskey burned, but it never reached the emptiness inside.

Then she walked in.

There was no rush about her. She moved like she knew she could take her time.

Tall. Blonde. A cashmere sweater that caught the light, cigarette pants that fit like they were made for her. The kind of woman men had killed for, the kind who had seen it all and remained untouched by it.

The air shifted. Conversations faltered. The men watched her the way the thirsty watch rain, as if just seeing her might be enough.

She sat at the far end of the bar. Ordered bourbon on the rocks, her voice low, steady. Her eyes didn’t meet theirs, didn’t even drift in their direction. She was somewhere else. Or maybe she was just done being seen.

The bartender leaned in close. “That’s the good stuff.”

The men nodded. They knew.

But they didn’t speak. They couldn’t.

She took her time with the drink, as though savoring a moment that wouldn’t last, even though she knew it couldn’t. The men watched her, and in the space between their stares, they felt the weight of wanting something they’d never have.

She finished her drink. Paid without a word.

Then she was gone.

The door shut softly behind her.

The men stayed in the quiet, the kind that comes after something has passed, but none of them can quite understand what it was.

The generous man cleared his throat. “Another round?”

The bartender nodded, pouring the next drink without a word.

The world outside was cold, still, dark. And the men kept drinking.

One drink at a time.“

“Stopped by Dakota’s Bar & Grill in Kelowna and honestly, it was such a refreshing experience. The vibe here is totally different from your usual bar — it’s got this warm, laid-back energy that instantly makes you feel comfortable. You can tell it’s a place where regulars and new faces mix easily, and everyone we met — staff and guests — was super friendly and welcoming.

The food really surprised us in the best way. The protein in our sandwich was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. And the cheese? Just the right amount — enough to add richness without overpowering anything. One of our sandwiches was a little extra crispy, but not in a bad way — still super enjoyable. It felt like they actually care about what they’re serving.

There’s something about Dakota’s that makes you want to stick around a little longer — maybe it’s the cozy interior, the vibe at the bar, or the fact that you don’t feel rushed. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more food off the menu. If you’re in Kelowna and want a chill spot with great service and solid eats, give this place a shot!“

“Came for lunch. Had the Charred Tomato & Spinach Benedict (filling and a very juicy tomato, one bite and the juice squirted all over) and the $20 BC Summer Bundle (Legendary burger, Caesar salad, blueberry pie). Good value for the price. The Legendary burger doesn't come with lettuce and tomato by default, but it can be included free upon a diner's request. We did feel shorted with the fresh blueberry pie. While it was tasty, the blueberries in our pie shell didn't come close to what's depicted in their advertising (online and in-restaurant). It looked a little sad.

Service was attentive and the price point is fair. Have been to many White Spot locations, and would recommend the chain as a whole.“

“Denise at White Spot (Kelowna airport) was absolutely amazing. She made my trip great before it even started. Seriously—I’ve never received such genuinely kind and attentive service anywhere, especially at an airport. She was warm, thoughtful, and made us feel totally looked after. You can tell she really cares. White Spot is lucky to have her—she turned a quick meal into a highlight of the day.“
