We were looking for a restaurant for lunch and the friendly owner of Memphis Blues BBQ, a guy from Chicoutimi, hearing us speak Quebecois, asked us if he could help us. We were a stone's throw from his restaurant, we decided to go there and we didn't regret it! Good food, good price. ?

The atmosphere perfectly matches expectations, and the decorations all fit and make sense. The booth was comfy and service was good
The selection of liquor was huge as you can see, lots of specialty drinks to choose from. Nothing fancy to my old fashioned, and the smoke didn't really have en effect
We had the feast platter, which looked amazing, but had a lot of dried out meat. It was served fairly quickly so obviously the meat is just sitting in a warming...

I try to come to a Memphis Blues when I am in BC, but there isn't one in my city. I first encountered it in Vancouver more than a decade ago and no matter which location I go to, I am always impressed with the food.

We ordered the Elvis Platter which came out almost immediately, almost like it was already cooked and just had to be served (of course it was, trying out humour here).

Of my party, I was the only one who had been there before,...
