“I had an amazing experience at Bin 4 Burger, and it was largely thanks to our server, Mareike! She was hands-down the nicest server we’ve ever had there. From the moment we sat down, her warm smile and genuine enthusiasm made us feel so welcome. Mareike was incredibly attentive, checking in just the right amount without ever being intrusive. She offered fantastic recommendations from the menu, clearly knowing the dishes inside and out, which made our meal even more enjoyable. Her positive energy and kindness truly elevated the entire dining experience. Mareike is a gem, and I can’t wait to return to Bin 4 Burger, hoping she’ll be our server again! Five stars all the way!“

“Great food, usually quite busy at this location so service can be understandably slow. Not for lack of skill from waitresses/waiters though.
If you wanna catch the game, checkout the lounge, and for a family oriented experience, check out the dining area.“

“First time and impressed. The staff are very attentive, food is flavorful, beverages are tasty...adult beverages...prices are comparable. Children are welcome and wheelchair assessible. So this is a good restaurant for everyone. Photos white sangria, Cesar, Thai chicken and yam fries appy and carnivar pasta. I recommend this location..also the Kamloops location is good with more of a youngrr vibe.“

“We visited again from Sask and did not disappoint! Amazing! Well worth the wait in line! I had the tuna on salad! And my husband had the halibut fish and chips with a side of the chowder. The chowder was his favourite. Still taking about it. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly and very efficient! For the amount of people served and the small space we were amazed at how spotless the kitchen was. Highly recommend a visit here!!“

“This is our must go to restaurant when we visit Victoria via boat for 30 years. First-year there I ordered the BlackBerry halibut and every year since then I order it and it's still my favorite cooked perfect, it's hard to make halibut moist like butter. My husband loves the olive tapenade they serve with their focaccia bread and will get an extra bowl to pour on his pasta. Best cheese cake too. Great culture, attention to detail, they even use copper water pitchers, the water is great.“

“I shall have to come back and try it again, it was very good. I had the Takoyaki Appetizer, deep fried octopus balls and for the main course Black Arashi Tan Tan - Black sesame base with pork belly, egg, spinach, bamboo shoots, crushed peanuts, chili oil, garlic, green onion and nori seaweed.“

“We visit Alpina restaurant fairly regularly and have always had a great meal and always exceptional service. Yesterday day however on our way back from a stressful day dealing with a family situation involving an ambulance, hospital and an assisted living facility we stopped in for a meal. Our server , I believe her name was Kayla , could tell we were a bit out of sorts and promptly took our orders for food and drink. Food was of course spot on and as we were dinning and Kayla checked in and chatted with us throughout our stay, she learned of the day we had. When we were done and I asked for the check Kayla gracefully said that the restaurant had looked after our bill. Both my wife and daughter started to cry , as they were emotional already but the act of kindness that was shown towards us was so welcome that they were overcome with both happiness and sadness. We have been in the restaurant business for almost 40 years and I can only hope that our employees would act the same as Kayla and the management of Alpina. Thank you. You made a miserable day bearable. 🥲🥰

“Chicken and ribs were great but steaks were salty, poorly cooked and dry (raw then overcooked dry). Staff was excellent and we've had one great steak there (last year) but now the bad steaks outnumber the good and they now marinate in what seems a salty smoke marinade. Ribs were great though... and service was excellent.“

Everything, from the excellent dark roast brew to the fluffy, totally-filled chorizo, aged cheese, sauteéd onion omelet, to the savory potatoes and lovely sourdough toast…all the best!! If they rubbed it and braised the belly and cut proper thick slices for porkbelly it would do the oppisite and add to the dish 🥲.“

Our dinner server was Amy..What can we say about Amy..She was a great server with a wonderful fun personality. She knew her product well and was always there when we needed her.

She was they type of server that knew when you needed her but, never hovered. She always kept our table cleaned for the next course of food..

We had the keftedes, moussaka, lamb shank, and ekmek and they were to die for! We ate everything off the plate, and our serve Dimitri was just the best!“

“Amazing place! amazing beer! Amazing people! We don’t usually drink beer, and we enjoyed the beer and food so much, after a long bike ride, so we went back for a second time in a week. As we were enjoying the good tasting beer, my husband dropped and lost his wedding band under the terrasse floor. As we’re looking for it, the staff came, they removed a long wooden piece of the floor so we can look for it, and they found it!!! We are blessed to have met those nice people!
