We stopped in for lunch on our way from Nanaimo to Victoria, and are very happy we did. It was around 11 a.m., so it was after breakfast and before lunch, so not many people were there. We were welcomed, asked to see the menu and decided to stay. Lots of variety in the menu, and service was fast and friendly. We had the Calamari as an appetizer. It was fresh, hot and the batter was very light. I had the Boss burger, which had two fried chicken breasts, avocado and all the fixin's with a side mixed green salad that was good, too. The other two with me had shrimp and Teriyaki chicken bowls. The portions were very large and everything tasted great. As we were about to leave, the place started to fill up, so I expect it's popular with locals. We'd go again, for sure.

This pizza could be the worst pizza my family and I have ever eaten. The crust tasted like cardboard and it was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted.

On Aug 2, 2025 was the first time we had been to this restaurant.initially the service seemed slow however there was only one waitress working serving both inside and the patio until 3 pm when a second waitress arrived. The waitress Nina was outstanding and should be recognized for how she handled everyone with a smile and calm manner.
From the menu We both ordered club house sandwich and fries - they were absolutely delicious and large portions - we would definitely order them again.

Food wasn't exceptionally great and the service could have been better. The outdoor seating was nice. Nothing on the menu was guaranteed peanut free. Lots of different discounts available that change daily.

I ordered here with some buddy’s and I ordered the fish and chips. I was highly dissatisfied with the quantity of the fish I paid $23 for very little food. Meanwhile my friends paid much less and got plenty more.

The owner/manager named Betty doesn’t Give a single care about how
They treat regular customers, ordered a spinach dip and accidentally dropped the dip bowl after 4 pieces and I asked if I could just have the dip bowl remade, our server comes back to us and says no and that if we want another one that we will be charged for the entire plate including all the toasted pita bits, so I said no and got charged for the entire plate without a remake, keep in mind we come here at least once or twice a week, sometimes 3 when the weather for patio becomes nice. She does not care about customer service. Only greed, most likely because hardly anyone goes to eat at that establishment to begin with. They have also have potato storage problems where you get grey French fries where they look and taste like the colour grey, so that points to oxidization problems during storage, and also we tried the pizza there 3 times and it was always under cooked and doughy. This lady sucks. Don’t go there. Just imagine if you were a one time customer! She gives me a somewhat cowardly vibe because she couldn’t just come out herself. She had to play back n forth messenger with our regular server, who is lovely by the way!

We just placed an order both my spouse and myself were included in this conversation. We specifically asked for cheesecake.
We received our order food was really good but no cheesecake.
Called multiple times twice hung up on only to hear we didn't order it! 😔 She was about to read back our order but I told her that didn't matter as no receipt was included in the delivery. About there I got disconnected again. Great food. However we didn't get what we ordered and have no idea if we paid for it or not.

Hands-down the best home cut french fries I’ve ever had! My burger was also delicious! Seasoned well, and the bun perfectly crisped on the edges. My friend got the mac and cheese and it was also incredible! Can’t wait to go back :)

Ordered pizza. One was not what I ordered and both had minimal toppings.
Spoke to manager who offered no resolutions and was argumentative.
Would not recommend.

Took the family for happy hour. The in house made artichoke dip was incredible, strongly recommend. Service was a little slow but acceptable. Will be going back!
