Best French Fries I have ever had in my life! Had an excellent server who was very attentive to us. Nice touch to give the birthday boy a good size piece of Chocolate Brownie to take home as he was too full from his dinner!

Enjoyed a plate of eggs Benny although I didn’t like the cubed hash browns.
Update: tried the veggie burger. Hard small bun, patty was burnt and there was little sauce etc. Pizza: tasteless and could barely find any cheese.

I had to get a second order of bacon on my burger since the first time it was burnt but other than that it was very good the gravy was good perfect temperature fries good burger was decent it could've better but I liked it other than the inconvenience of the service

Mediocre pizza and way overpriced. Go to Sarpinos in Shawnigan Lake for more affordable pizza. Moo’s pizza up in Cobble Hill is much better for the same price.

After multiple visits to the Mill Grill, tonight was clearly the nail on the coffin for this place. Where to start? The Mill misses the mark in nearly every aspect of the food and service industry, apart from the nice soup ladles hanging from the booths.

As an attendee of multiple music bingo nights, Santa breakfast and take out orders- the food is sub par (at best). In example, home fries at breaky tasted like fish. No dairy alternatives or lactose free options. Pizza is relatively tasteless and is much like eating warmed carboard. Loaded fries were a soggy, sloppy mess .

As for the customer service tonight- I was seriously looking for the Kitchen Nightmares reality cam to see how this shit show was unfolding. Sadly, Gordon Ramsay didn’t appear! In fact, no one did. We were not greeted at the door, actually turned away and told that all the empty tables were reserved and not even offered to be on a waitlist. I’m not sure the staff were even aware that was a thing. When a couple patrons kindly offered their table and said they were leaving, the staff did not offer us their booth or even acknowledge we existed. We sat down and I cleared the dirty dishes and the table was never wiped. Thinking, ‘ok, they must be slammed right now’ or ‘I’m sure someone will be by to take a drink order or even acknowledge that we exist’ in a few minutes- never happened!

I recognize that the food and service industry is extremely challenging, fast paced and emotionally and physically exhausting. I also realize it’s nearing the holidays and people can be A holes- however, I have never seen such poor service in all my life! When I approached the bar to ask if I could place a drink order, I was rudely reprimanded by a younger looking man with dark long hair telling me that ‘ya, get in the queue’, ‘you and everyone else’ and that ‘everyone else is waiting as well’ and that ‘we told you we didn’t have any available tables’. He then sarcastically directed me to speak with his manager with a punchy grin and head tilt. I spoke with the manager, who was quite receptive and understanding and recognized that her staff were under a lot of stress. I suggested that a little customer service, training and kindness could go a long way in preparing them for triaging busy customer service situations. It was quite sad, as I could see that she saw her dumpster was going down in flames in front of her eyes. She did offer us a round of drinks for our table to mitigate our grievances. The wait staff were pleasant enough, but had difficulties remembering orders (not written down), making change or knowing how to wait a table in general.

Anyhow, save yourself the energy, time, money and heartburn. This will be my absolute last resort to dine locally and participate in their events like music bingo nights. It’s a shame, because it really could be a happening place, considering the monopoly market they have for pizza/ beer/ pub style food and their location. Do better Mill Grill!

We used the in the loop app that they advertised they do not honour the price we were charged more than the in the loop price , in all fairness the food and drinks were good and we enjoyed it but if you advertise something you should honour it

I came here on my way back down to Victoria. I ordered the Logger burger and I was very disappointed. Bun was stale, meat was dry and the whole thing was slapped together like McDonalds. I had to take the burger apart and reassemble it so that everything wasn’t just in the middle of the sandwich. There was no quality check. The only time I saw the server was when she dropped off the food and then brought me the cheque. She didn’t even ask me how it all was???? The table in front of me had the exact same service. The guy sat there with an empty ice T glass the whole time he ate his burger. I am very disappointed as mentioned and I probably will not be back.

Servers are charming. Pizza not much. Tasted like frozen pizza crust - they must not make it themselves. Ambiance uninteresting. Thanks for the friendly service.
