“i enjoy rickys food breakfeast and dinners. however sadly my experience last night was old and cold fries and my roomie did not get her dipping au jous sauce for her meal. i still love rickys food but perhaps double check orders to avoid such mistakes.“

“What a surprise, just cruisin' the main drag at lunch and noticed this little restaurant. First time on the island and they did not disappoint! Even had the hot crab dip n potato slices and we tried/loved the scallops. Instead of goin to the regular chains I say give these folks your dime & time. Friendly and fast service. If we ever come visit from Wpg again this will be the first stop.“

“We always go to the Southgate location here in Nanaimo. We go here for family breakfasts consisting of 8-12 people normally. We never have a problem with seating and service has always been fairly quick considering the effort it takes to coordinate a large number of meals to come out at the same time.“

“Service was great, food is always good - SO LOUD it is always so difficult to hear and we had to shout at the table. The music is loud which makes people talk louder and it is just not pleasant. I love the renovations that were done, looks great. Not sure what you can do about the noise level, it is a deterrent for me to go in.“

Being a businessperson, this was a problem as I had many business deals to make and paperwork to put into my briefcase. When I arrived at Ricky's with my bee stings, I ordered some french fries and they were quite the dandy. I would definitely eat here.“
