“At was our first time at Raglan’s Bistro & their colourful patio & sign caught our eye. We were so happy that their patio was open & they turned on the heater for us & our pup. I ordered the piña colada ? ? ? & huevos rancheros with a side of summer sausage. While my husband ordered a burger & she staff accommodated his request to make the order vegan. The food came out quickly & was HOT. ?️ the summer sausage caught my eye as soon as the staff brought it out: it was colourful & looked juicy. And after taking a bite: I knew it wasn’t just store-bought/ a ready to cook sausage. It juicy & burst with flavour with each bite, & was so good that I had to ask if it was house-made or a specialty order. One of the staff said it was indeed house-made & took lots of recipe-tweaking. My cocktail was refreshing after finishing up a walk around Mahon Park & felt like I was in a tropical country. ? And my cast iron plate of huevos rancheros was filling, scrumptious & definitely made our stroll worth it. My husband was happy with a full belly with his burger. ?Highly recommend Raglan’s for their friendly staff, colourful & heated patio, & yummy food. ?“
“I can understand if the food came cold because the delivery was late. But my food and broken pieces of plastic were in the food and the pieces of plastic stuck in the potatoes were really dangerous. The food was delicious, but it was the worst experienceNevertheless, the reason why I give five stars is because I know it's not the restaurant's fault“
“The restaurant was quiet because the golf course was closed and we ended up the only table in there and the food was as good as if the restaurant was packed and they were cooking up a storm. Thursday special of burgers, sandwiches and wraps for $10 is a great deal!“
“Had a family birthday breakfast here, mostly because they were the only place I called that would give me a reservation. What a great choice! Food was very good and the waiter's service (George I think) was absolutely top notch, very accommodating of special orders and small children. Pricing very reasonable. I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: I asked for a vegetarian hash (not on the menu, although there is a vegetarian omelet) and it was delicious.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the food! very happy.“
“Eua was a fantastic server. She was kind and welcoming, and the food was served fast.Vegetarian options: They have some on the menu. It wasn't my focus so I didn't pay much attention but I remember seeing someParking: Shared lot with other businesses, but lots of spots“
“Hi it's been pleasure to go Denny’s Canada. I have been working in hospitality industry so I choose quality services and good staffing. I noticed one of the staff name “Prakriti “. Th service she have given was quite respectful. Thank you for all the good hard work and keep it up!“
“Popular Diner place at Coquitlam. Place is clean. Lot of people on a Sunday morning. Got seated quick. Service was excellent. Our server, Rick, was attentive and friendly. Really made sure we had a nice dining experience which was amazing. Highly recommended.“
“Fast friendly service, food was cooked just right And was hot. We were sitting underneath a music speaker which was rather loud, So I did ask if they could turn it down which they did immediately. I like go to Denny’s, menu is a good variety , especially for thee we over 55.“
“My brother recommended we go here during my limited time in Vancouver, and was he ever right! Service and atmosphere met and even surpassed expectations, but the real prize was in the food. We ordered the Grande Caesar- which you could expect to pay extra for its unique style, but quite the opposite!! $60 and we couldn’t even eat a quarter of it between 2 of us, the server gave us to-go boxes prior to completion as he knew what was up haha. Not all of it tasted fantastic to us, but still was extremely worth its price.“
“Came in for a quick bite and drink as I haven't tried this location yet, and it was phenomenal! I got a pizza and it was great quality, the dough specifically. My server Adam, recommended a fantastic Hazy IPA to pair. Will be back for sure!“
“Loved the atmosphere, service, drinks, and oysters. Oysters were served with cucumber puree-like things, which was super refreshing. Drinks were great with lots of options. The salad we ordered came with chunks of lobsters. Yum. Overall, I recommend to come and enjoy your life at this bar.“
“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“
“If you want a decent burger, this is the place to go. If you're coming to try out new menu items and express an opinion, you need to be seated in the Dennys side and not the pub side. (Menu is the same, but they're not as interested in your opinion of the food. ) The local lager had a nice flavour and a clean finish. And the bacon avocado burger was very good: the creaminess of the avocado went nicely with the crisp saltiness of the bacon. Their burger is good too. Not too processed. Staff was very friendly.“
“Earl's Brentwood is our favorite and we go there regularly. The ambience is lovely and staff are friendly. This time however the service was very disappointing and the food was not fresh and tasty. I hope they go back in providing a good service...“
“When I walked into this little place today, I did not expect to be met with the type of experience I had. This little hole in the wall in Vancouver was just what I needed after a great day. My fiancè and I sat at the back and were greeted promptly. Not only was I not expecting to have an authentic Greek gyro but I was not expecting to meet the owner much less have a conversation with him for our whole dining experience. It was amazing food, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. If I lived in Vancouver this would be a regular place I would be coming.Thank you to the friendly staff and to the owner for a fantastic experience. If you haven't eaten here, you should. The food is amazing and the company is just the cherry on top.“
“Bons is a Vancouver staple.Me and my buddy come here twice a week and we love it every time. A must visit establishment if you live in Vancouver.Prices are amazing, portions are always good, amazing value. Can not be understated.Atmosphere is one of a kind and service is always prompt and kind. They don't suffer fools so I'm inclined to believe that anyone that had a negative experience here probably came by it honestly.“
“I came in here randomly because I had an hour to kill before a meeting. The staff was so sweet. I got hot wings. Amazing. And a beer. Which was cold and crisp. They made sure I had everything I needed and were so kind. If you're around this area..go in. It's so great :) thanks “
“A great bar, attached to the St Regis Hotel on Dunsmuir Street;food is good and varied,as is the beer.A nice cosy atmosphere, with subdued lighting to add to the ambiance, they show sports on a couple of large screen tv’s,oh,and they have a happy hour, enjoy!“
“Great little hole in the wall. Diner style, nothing fancy but the food is home cooked and delicious. I had corned beef hash and the man had a ham scramble. We were so hungry we forgot to take pics! The menu is robust and the service is neighbourly and down home. Lots of regulars that the servers called by first name. I would definitely go back but maybe not at peak hours or Saturdays. Thank you Dylan and team.Parking: Very small lot that's shared with other businesses.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly.“
“First Time at this restaurant. can't wait to go back! Eggs, Betty on crab cakes were more delicious than I have words for. Service is quick, food comes out FAST and tastes even better than it looks! Our server was Jenna, fighting her way through the line ups. She was friendly and attentive.Try it!“
“A must visit for those in Vancouver. They have some amazing burgers. It's also a great place for vegan eats. I actually tried the Tofu Bang Bang and loved it. Check the photo :)Vegetarian options: They have quite a few dishes that offer vegetarian options with egg. You can request them to hold the egg.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options as well for those who are on plant based dietsParking: There is a large public parking space right next to restaurantKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Perfect place to get warm and rest after a long walk during a rainy day at Stanley Park. Quality service, nice and relaxing atmosphere. Interesting and varied menu. We've tried the chicken's nest chowder, and it was delicious and very impressively served.“
“I was so grateful that the staff there found room for over 10 of us. We had just played hockey and we’re really really hungry. The place was absolutely packed. Everybody seemed really happy and seemed to be really enjoying their meals. I chose an omelet that didn’t have cheese and I had asked if there was cheese, but I think there was just a bit of a complication and I didn’t get cheese. I didn’t really enjoy my meal, but everyone else at my table really really enjoyed their meals. I’m definitely going to come back and try something different. The price point is amazing, the most affordable food I’ve seen in a long time. The plates were huge. The staff was really great about making sure we had coffee and taking care of all our needs. Overall, I definitely had a great experience.Vegetarian options: The omelet that I ordered was vegetarian. There was no cheese in it.“
“Haliya, Shane, and Mila at Bar One did their part and more to create one of the best hotel lobby bar experiences that I've had in Vancouver. Yet Ana Bavila was a standout among these greats.Over the three days that I was there, they were courteous, attentive, and genuinely friendly, all while maintaining a clinical efficiency and ruthless cleanliness. All around good vibes and topped up drinks, while the resident band serenaded the occasion.“
“? Brass Fish Tavern in Vancouver is an absolute gem! From the stylish parlour room inside the iconic Marine Building to the considered bar program and 250+ whiskies, it's a delightful experience. A must-visit! ??Highly recommend as the staff made the event and were excellent in accommodating our large party last night and we will be back for the future endeavors .Thank you very much.“
“My friends and I recently celebrated at the revolving restaurant in downtown Vancouver, and it was quite an experience! The highlight, without a doubt, was the breathtaking view of the cityscape, which made for a memorable evening. The service was also commendable—attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Our group ordered a variety of dishes including duck, steak, ravioli, and chicken. The ravioli was a standout, bursting with rich flavors that were both comforting and sophisticated. Similarly, the calamari was well-prepared, delightfully crispy, and seasoned to perfection, making it a dish we would order again. However, the chicken dish did fall short of our expectations. It was unfortunately too dry and lacked the robust seasoning needed to elevate its taste, which was a disappointment within an otherwise delicious meal.Despite the chicken's misstep, our overall dining experience was enjoyable. This restaurant offers a unique setting with a panoramic city view that can't be beaten, good food, and excellent service. It's a place I'd recommend, with the hope that the few culinary kinks can be ironed out for an even better experience next time.“
“I recently had the pleasure of eating at Juke Chicken and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience! The convenience of takeout did not compromise the quality one bit. The chicken was a revelation - the skin was addictively crispy, while the meat inside remained succulent and flavorful. Their secret spice blend really sets their chicken apart from any other I've tried. The ordering process was a breeze and the service was quick and friendly, making the entire experience seamless. Juke Chicken has definitely set a new standard for chicken my book. Can't wait to indulge in their delicious offerings again.“
“Exploring Vancouver and the sign outside caught our attention, so we had to check it out. Short walk from the steam clock located in Gastown. Everything was perfect ?. The gentleman reccomend me a lager that hit just right. We stopped in for lunch, and we were very happy with our choice. It was relaxing and relatively quiet for downtown Vancouver. We had the daily special, which was a soup and chicken wrap. They were both perfect.“
“Absolutely delicious! Easily the best burger and fries I've eaten in years, if ever. They do smash burgers that are thin, have crispy, doily-like edges, but is juicy and delicious. The fries are thin, crisp and wonderfully flavoured. The staff are lovely and chatty. I have everything 5-stars because it deserves that, but I docketed an overall star due to their strict No Mods policy. I get that that is part of their gimmick, but they use a mayo based sauce (which I also love), but my friend is allergic to mayo, so I can't bring them here. I love Between Two Buns, and I'll eat there any chance I get! I'd just have more chances of they'd just add a No Sauce option to their menu.“
“I organized a dinner for our lacrosse tournament last week and pre-ordered food for 41 of us. Have to say the staff went above and beyond to have everything ready for us and it went so smoothly! I've organized team dinners before over the years but this was the best by far and I commend the staff for their organization, timeliness & the food exceeded expectations! Five stars all around, thank you so much for a memorable evening :)“
“The Broadway location is more cozy and intimate compared to the Waterfront location but for a Friday night you would think their service would be better. The food was decent but nothing special. The sweet cauliflower was pretty good but the calamari was tough and chewy. Their drinks are usually pretty good though relatively expensive but I would give this place another try.“
“Food truck located at the back of the Electric Bicycle Brewery. We tried the kapow and snap burgers and they were both pretty tasty. Just a little pricey for a food truck. We ended up getting a beer at the brewery as there is no seating available by the food truck.“
“Pretty good place, with good food! We had a simple breakfast of eggs with bacon and toast and was cooked well. I found the food pretty light (not greasy at all, which diners can commonly do), but maybe wasn't my taste since the food was a bit bland. Wasn't bad with a little salt and pepper.Service was great, seated right away and friendly staff. Atmosphere was what you can expect of a diner. Prices were okay, maybe a little high for an egg breakfast but not unreasonable.“
“My wife and I went there with a couple of friends. The food was delicious. Being a vegetarian, I had good options on the menu. The service was fast for a Saturday evening. I recommend trying the platter and the flatbreads.Vegetarian options: They have veggie salads, a veggie burger, a veggie sandwich, a veggie flatbread and a veggie quinoa bowl. I had the veggie flatbread and it was delicious.“
“My daughter and I popped into Bar One after a day filled with errands as she was craving Denny's shredded hash browns. We ended up having the Bar One side all to ourselves and had the dedicated attention of Claudia who went above and beyond with menu recommendations. She took the time to get to know us and share a bit of her Canadian travel stories.Claudia was delightful. We'll be back just to see her and find out how her trip to the island was!“
“"Had a flipping good time at IHOP! The pancakes were so fluffy, they practically floated off the plate. Service was as sweet as maple syrup, and the ambiance made me feel like I was brunching in a sitcom. Definitely an egg-cellent spot for a delicious breakfast fix!"“
“Hidden away. Large room that was full. 4 pool tables that are free on weekdays. Reasonable prices. Free parking if register inside. Do not recommend the fish and chips - greasy and toxic coleslawParking: Park south of entrance and register plate at bar laptop.“
“Jet is best bartender I've ever met.Actually this is my first time to visit here and i felt like this place is friendly and cozy. He kept taking care of me and tried to make me feel better.Very crowed place but I was getting into that “
“The portions and quality of their beef dip was pretty good. Priced a bit on the high end but what isn't nowadays? Overall I was pretty impressed, most of these light industrial area restaurants tend to be pretty good. Self serve plate to table and back. The cooks are impatient and cranky, but they seem to know the regulars pretty well.“
“The best food I have had dining out in years. You must try the coconut Shrimp. They are huge and super tasty!!!! Too many things to list. You will be satisfied with everything on the menu. The staff is also super friendly and service is fast. Definitely a must try!! I am sure you will be a repeat customer. In the middle of my review I took a picture of the coconut shrimp. So good!! A++“
