I do not know how they stay in business to be honest. I ordered baked lasagna paid for it online from their website, went to pick it up, and was told they cancelled the order, because they don’t have lasagna though it’s on their menu. Not a phone call… and I was still charged. They were rather dismissive about it, said it could take a couple days to get the refund. They said I was emailed, but I got it 30 minutes after I left. Does the pizza rival that of one that comes from a wood fired oven in Italy? No… Is it a very legitimate “bar pie” at a very fair price? YES! The pickup special (19.95 for Xlarge) is a deal you just dont see these days. Feeding my family of 3 for $20 sounds like a fairy tale… well worth a tip each visit. Thank you Departure Bay Pizza for serving a reasonable product at a reasonable price.
Next level pizza perfection what can I say wowza I was impressed like sooo good best pizza in Nanaimo fresh affordable and tons of toppings. If this isn't your pizza place yet give it a chance it will change your world around or atleast your mind on what's great pizza is.
