McDonald's in Nanaimo

“To whoever was working in the kitchen around 12pm noon on June 10th… I just ate the most perfectly put together, non messy big mac ive ever had in my life. I thought to take a photo but not until it was already eaten. I always avoiding ordering them because they are too messy to eat but I was craving one today.. & this ones veggie and sauce proportions were perfection 🥹“

“I don’t review fast food restaurants often, but this latest experience deserved it.

I came for a quick lunch with my dad. We were told to take a seat and were brought the meal to our table. Food was placed like I was sitting at a sit down restaurant and was also served condiments without having to ask.

Good food, amazing service.“

“I stoped coming here because the service and food was atrocious. It’s so co convenient to be able to come after shopping but it wasn’t worth it.
Not sure if there is new management but Sheena runs this place RIGHT! She’s amazing with customers, efficient and keeps her teenage staff in check. The food was perfect and it came out quick. Well done franchisee. I’m happy to see the improvement!“

“It’s always nice to get incredible service at McDonald’s. The manger must know what he’s doing because the staff look happy and treated us right. The cheerful young lady who served us was a delight. I think the option for Table Service is a nice touch. Honestly I haven’t had a sit down dinner in a McDonald’s in a long time… but I think next time I’m stop for a last minute road trip burger with the kids, and I’m in north h Nanaimo, I’ll seriously consider Mc’y D’s!

PS I think this might be the cleanest franchise iv ever seen!

Update: car battery died in curbside delivery spot and staff (Brady) came out and tried to help and management seemed to encourage him to go above and beyond, didn’t have a beefy enough battery to get it started but construction crew onsite ended up boosting me with their truck. This was above and beyond examples of people being good humans, thanks everyone!“

“This location has always been good to us.
Many of us worked here in the Years past.

The people outside aren't the ones Inside serving you so no big deal if you see a homeless person. They like food too.

The drive thru teen running back booth did a great job. He even greeted us with hands up service as soon as i pulled up.
He used the word supersized when asking if we wanted to large size, I honestly squeeled with joy. They parked us because it was a large group order and still had everything made within the 'serve it' time.
