The vault is the coolest location in Nanaimo and going there is an experience. This spot is popular with locals and with tourists, as one of the best venues in town as well as just the coolest spot.
The staff are amazing and the food is awesome. If it's poppin in there will you wait a bit? Yes, but that's because it is well loved.
An absolutely tranquil relaxing atmosphere that I spent a wonderful time reconnecting in with a friend I haven't seen in many years. Even has a couple neat shops upstairs worth checking out, especially if you're into all sorts of various genres of records.

A lovely lil café right downtown! Great location, loads of buses stop just across the street, easy to get to.
Always had a good experience with the coffee, the mocha is such a deep flavor and not overly-sweet!
Tried their ginger cookies today and was blown away, amazing flavor.
I love to just grab a drink, sit outside, and read a book, maybe do some people-watching or play on my tablet. A great way to spend a few hours.
