“Around 1:30 the restaurant was still busy, so we decided to go for some wine tasting first. The patio was beautiful with lovely views. The food looked stunning, and even though I wasn’t very hungry, it was still very good!”

“We stopped by Tin Whistle Brewing during their 30th anniversary, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip to Penticton. The space has a welcoming industrial-rustic vibe that feels both laid-back and inviting.

The owner himself took care of us and made the experience memorable. He was incredibly patient, walking us through each of the beers on tap and sharing the stories behind them. We ordered three flights to sample all 12 of their flavors, and it was worth it. Every pour had its own personality, from crisp and refreshing to bold and complex.

A few standouts for us were the stout, the coffee beer, and the blueberry tart ale—which was especially unique and unlike anything we’ve tried before. It’s no surprise they’ve won awards; the craftsmanship shows in every glass.

Whether you’re a craft beer fan or just looking for a great spot to enjoy a drink in the Okanagan, Tin Whistle Brewery is a must-visit. Friendly service, great beer, and a genuine passion for brewing make this place special.”

“We went to Kojo when it was very busy, but we were lucky to get a table for 3. They were quick in getting drink and food for two of us, but we had to wait an hour for the food and drink for our third person to arrive. Even though two of us were done eating long before any food arrived for our friend, the food was delicious! When I asked the restaurant to comp the last beverage that didn't arrive until we were ready to leave, they were very apologetic about our wait and gifted us a lovely set of sauces. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that they comped our entire meal which was incredibly generous of them. The shows excellent customer service in going beyond what was expected to apologize for our wait, and I will for sure give this place my business again in the future.”

“What a delight having an early dinner at the Sunflower Ukrainian Cafe in Summerland —- the pyrogies, cabbage rolls and borscht were fantastic! Took home a few of their delectable desserts and WOW, super amazing. Couldn’t decide on which one we liked the most. Truly gifted food artists and talented chefs. “This is a great surprise!!! Your drive up to this very unassuming winery,however, when you walk through the door and into the tasting room it oozes elegance. There are several beautifully appointed tables to be seated at for your tasting experience. We were served by Bonnie who was a great host! Full of great information about both the history and background of the winery, vineyards and the great wines. It was later in the afternoon when we stopped here so we were hungry, we were able to grab a small charcuterie player to help tie us over. The wines are exceptional we took home a variety of 9 bottles!! If you want a great experience and a great small family-run winery you need to stop here you will not be disappointed.”

“Stopped by for beer and some food. Sat inside, the taproom is really nice. Food is served but for beer you need to come to the bar - which is completely ok. Staff was friendly and quick. Beer was excellent. Ordered nachos and it was enough for both of us. Recommended.”
