“We stopped by Tin Whistle Brewing during their 30th anniversary, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip to Penticton. The space has a welcoming industrial-rustic vibe that feels both laid-back and inviting.

The owner himself took care of us and made the experience memorable. He was incredibly patient, walking us through each of the beers on tap and sharing the stories behind them. We ordered three flights to sample all 12 of their flavors, and it was worth it. Every pour had its own personality, from crisp and refreshing to bold and complex.

A few standouts for us were the stout, the coffee beer, and the blueberry tart ale—which was especially unique and unlike anything we’ve tried before. It’s no surprise they’ve won awards; the craftsmanship shows in every glass.

They specialize in sparkling wines, and won the award as the best Sparkling wine producer in the 2025 NWAC. We tasted a few, and they were excellent. We also managed to snag one of the last bottles of their gerwurstraminer.“

“Stopped by for beer and some food. Sat inside, the taproom is really nice. Food is served but for beer you need to come to the bar - which is completely ok. Staff was friendly and quick. Beer was excellent. Ordered nachos and it was enough for both of us. Recommended.“

“We were on a hunt for family-friendly wineries yesterday and Summerland Heetiage Cider is a top favorite for everyone. Of course, the ciders were delicious and the view was breathtaking. But the best part is, my kids really enjoyed the lawn games and their food (they are picky eaters) and our server was so patient and kind to them, it really helped my husband and I relax and enjoy the flight. “A true local favourite! Barley Mill’s menu has something for everyone. Tonight we had the blackened chicken salad and the steak sandwich with a house salad—absolutely delicious. The patio made for a perfect evening. Always a go-to spot! However next time will have the brew fries 😁“
