“What a nice little coffee shop! Stopped by in the morning for breakfast and it was bustling, clearly a local favourite. There is a full menu for breakfast and lunch in addition to baked goods. Now I am back for tea and reading and it seems a few others are doing the same.Very nice! Will be back for sure.“
“My family and I started with the mussels. They were excellent. I had the ravioli, my husband had the salmon salad. The food was delicious. Our waiter Gabe was very attentive and enjoyable. It was a very comfortable atmosphere and we would definitely go back.“
“Attached to the Adventure Hotel, this place has great coffee and tea drinks. The hot london fog was incredible. Nitro cold brewed coffee had a bit more bitterness than I prefer, but still very good. They also have many sweet as well as savory options for food (full deli case and a large selection of muffins, croissants, and breads on the counter). Staff were quick, friendly, and helpful (I overheard them patiently working with customers who had allergies to help find a suitable snack).“
“Absolutely love this cafe! It’s so cute and had very unique drinks which are delicious! Food is always nice too with high quality ingredients at appropriate prices. Space is very homey. Only reason why I don’t give it 5 stars is because it’s SO cold in there in the winter. It’s an old building and I always see people inside wearing big coats or sweaters and know that more people who choose this spot over empire if it was heated better.“
“If you have young kids and haven't been to Acorn + Oak, you are waiting for something great! And anyone would feel welcome to have a good treat in a warm-vibed cozy café. I went today while babysitting and my little friend was smiling the whole time pretty much. There are lots of well curated toys, books, drinks, snacks and more. Sky-Lea is so awesome too!“
“Some of the best hotdogs and milkshakes ever! Their milkshakes are very decent size (two big scoops) so make sure you are not too full! Great staff and awesome patio to enjoy the weather. Lots of free parking in the residential area behind at the top of the hill.“
