Nelson Brewing Company offers yummiest Mango Haz and Poptop Beer, along with an awesome Margarita. The fully licensed space is cozy, with amazing staff. They participated in the Kootenay Beer Festival, offering tasty Nelson Brewing sample beer. It is a great neighborhood brewery in Nelson to enjoy refreshing drinks and friendly service. The tasting room is great and has all their great beers on tap, as well as cold beers for sale. The bent pole IPA and 24 karat golden ale were personal favorites, but they are all great brews. The tap room is not big, but it should accommodate a smaller group. Great beer selection with a choice of sizes is great if you want to sample a few. The building is great, the beer is amazing, and the tap room is super welcoming. Staff really make this place special, and they were the reason for returning day after day. One of the brewers explained the new Joyride Juicy Pale Ale and getting large ToGo cans of low production gems like Forgot the Rum made a beer geek smile. It is a wonderful place and a favorite brewery.
