“We were so lucky to participate in the Kootenay Beer Festival on September 16, 2023 at the outdoor festival along Baker Street in downtown Nelson at Railtown…we really liked the Nelson Brewing sample beer we tasted..very good discussion with the brewery staff..“

“we were spending a couple nights in Nelson. we stopped at Backwoods for lunch. great beer selection. JJ suggested we get pizza across the street for food. Thanks to him, I had the best NY style pizza I have had in a long time, and I'm originally from NYC now Oregon. JJ was awesome to chat with about Nelson. I came back later to fill a growler. 5 stars for staff and beer“
