“Anny’s Dairy Bar is the best place to try amazing poutine and smoked meat sandwich without going to Montreal. Actually, I think it’s better than a lot of places we tried in Montreal. We shared the smoked meat sandwich and regular-sized poutine and it was the right amount of food for two people. The cheese curds in the poutine was delightfully squeaky, the gravy was deliciously viscous and the fries were nicely crispy. I’m slightly more partial to the smoked meat sandwich, which used soft bread and the most tender meat, pairing nicely with the pickle. Don’t sleep on the maple ice cream - it’s so good.“

“Food was really good, we had the yorkshire pudding to start and got 4 instead of three. I’d recommend sticking with the three it comes with because one was hot and three were cold. For mains we had fish and chips and chicken caesar wrap. Drinks were Nats lager (spot size of course) and a red sangria and rose sangria. Definitely try the sangrias. Server was nice and provided good service even when busy. Overall great experience.“

Thankfully, Simran, one of the staff members, handled the situation very professionally and kindly. She immediately looked into the problem, fixed it quickly, and made sure everything was sorted out. “Had not been to a C-Lovers location in a few years. This one was a delightful experience all around. The restaurant was bright with lots of comfortable window seating. We ordered the Cod and Chips meal. The fish was yummy with just enough batter without seeming oily. The chips could have used a better potato type but did the job. The coleslaw was awesome - tasty, fresh, and crunchy. The food portions were good. Service was attentive and friendly. The menu was laid out nicely with a good variety of items to choose from .“
