“Came here to grab bite before my appointment at Lion's Gate Hospital. Ended up ordering the Classic Poke. It was pretty loaded with alot of toppings including the tuna/salmon sashimi bites.
It was fresh and had great taste. Price was about $18 which was ok for what you get 👌“

“My first time, I ordered 2 proteins and paid $20 (tips) for my late lunch. It looked great and ate it all.

Had a side-effects on the wasabi sauce.

I ordered my second lunch at Poke and ordered a different sauce this time.

Nice lady had great customer service and very knowledgeable.

“Amazing, high quality, fresh healthy food. Friendly couple owns and operates the place, and they're always kind even when very busy. Nice to have a decent food option, we're surrounded by junk food everywhere these days!! Highly recommend.“

“Dropped in here looking for a quick meal after landing in the city and was pleased overall with the quality of ingredients and food overall.

One thing I would note is, I believe we were charged for 'dining in'? As we were asked if we would and the bill seemed to be slightly more than expected so presume there was a surcharge for doing so, which would have been nice to be notified if that is the case but good meal overall!“

“I tried the Aye Bowl with the multigrain rice, the food was very good. The portion of the food was adequate for the price, and the bowl was very healthy! The salmon was fresh and there was a good amount of avocado, which I really liked. It was a bit pricey but given the flavour and the healthiness overall of the bowl made it fair. The service was fast, and the environment was relaxed an friendly.“

“Great new poke place in Vancouver near my work! They have a few unique protein & topping options that other places don't offer - the aburi salmon was SO GOOD, definitely get it!! The cucumber was nicely shredded although a bit mushier than I'd like. Would've liked a bit more rice or an option to add salad to my base.Prices are more reasonable than others as well, I noticed that it's getting much more expensive lately so I liked saving a few dollars for my poke fix. Will order from here again!“

“I go to Metrotown often to eat, but this is the healthiest and most enjoyable meal I've had.
TIKI, YUZU, and KOKO are all delicious, The ingredients, including the vegetables, are very fresh and the ratio to rice is just right.

“Love this place! We came in late like 10 minutes to closing and the lady server was welcoming. she was patient. The poke was excellent. Not too salty at all!“

“This is my favourite local sushi place! It’s a tiny little spot but it’s always busy and the quality is excellent. My favourites are their spicy chicken karaage, the crunch and paparazzi roll and yummy Peking duck roll. The staff is always really friendly too“

“One of my go-to spots for a fresh, healthy, and delicious meal! Hula Poke makes it so easy to build your own poke bowl just the way you like it. I love how customizable everything is — you can pick your protein (I went with the marinated salmon), choose your base (kelp noodles are a great light option), and top it off with bold, unique sauces. I tried the Tiki sauce for a nice spicy kick — highly recommend!

They also have refreshing tropical drinks called Caladas — I tried the mango one and it tasted like summer in a cup! 🍓🥭🍍

“Every experience has a welcoming feel to it. The food is always delicious and I appreciate the selection of toppings. The one less star for Food is due to the few occasions where the rice was either over-hydrated or under-hydrated. Other than that it is a good place to have lunch at. “Vancouver Vegan Scene is LIT 🔥 I had no idea! It’s way better than LA & Portland - fight me 💪 It’s a lovely little family-owned fast food vegan spot with an immaculately charming vibe. The crispy chick’un is made in house and it’s so crispy & fresh! The Szechuan Chick’un Wrap was LEGIT spicy and made me feel alive! 😂 They also have a really good selection of vegan treats - Blue Bunny ice cream sandwiches & lychee chia drinks were delish! I’m definitely going to be coming back here a lot! “I dine here at least 3 times a week as I’m close to here everyday. Friendly, super fast service and always there to answer questions about food/allergens. One of the best poke/ramen places in downtown Vancouver“

“Family had a craving for Japanese food so we tried this place out. Ordered online and it was efficient and the service was friendly. The restaurant in a Tuesday was very busy which is great to see. We ordered mainly sushi with a beef udon and a tofu donburi. Seafood was fresh and the sushi was well prepared. It’s not totally authentic food but it’s pretty tasty food.“

“Tasty light lunch idea out of the ordinary.

Just skip the burrito version and get a bowl. It saves so much frustration. They dont know how to wrap them properly and as soon as you start to unravel the paper it all falls apart. Dont think this is a portable item. It isn't. It will be a fork situation.“

“At this Poké Bar location, I tried one of their pokes, which had 4 Proteins (2 scoops of Raw Salmon, a scoop of Raw Ahi Tuna, and a scoop of cooked chicken), Avocado, Boiled Egg (Half), Brown Rice, Edamame, Kale, Corn, Spring Mix, Sesame Oil, their Original Sauce, Imitation Crab Meat, Fried Onion, Nori, Sesame Seed, and came along with a Miso Soup!

The quality of the food was nice, and the bowl had a nice flavour. I really liked that the Boiled Egg looked way less artificial compared to the Boiled Egg other restaurants offer to add to either a Bowl or a Soup.

The price given the portions of the food was reasonable, and the service was very nice and friendly.“

“Fresh, authentic Japanese food! The owner is super nice, and offers great food at even better value! I look forward to making this spot one of my regular go-to restaurants!

I ordered the bluefin tray a, and the sushi that I got was extremely fresh. The nigiri pieces had very large pieces of fish and nothing had a fishy smell. The rolls were also extremely large, my partner and I were very satisfied after eating the tray!

I cannot recommend this place more!“
