“Went here yesterday. Rachel was our server. She was wonderful! We sat in the covered section of the patio, so traffic noise outside was minimized. My wife had the tuna poke and loved it. I had the delicious Swiss burger and fries. There was one small glitch - the fries were only luke-warm. But Rachel quickly got them replaced with hot, hot fries! I devoured all of them. We don't live close to this place (we are about an hour away), but we won't hesitate to stop in again the next time we are in the vicinity. Two thumbs up to both the restaurant and to Rachel!“

“Our waitress Jaclyn was a real crowd pleaser! She was high energy from the first hello to the final goodbye. She got to know us and when she learned about our love of pickle backs… next thing we know there is a round coming to our table! What a great surprise and a fun way to transition from dinner to the concert we were seeing. The Sports Bar also had staff present to help direct and walk along customers from the sports bar to a near by door for easy access to Rogers arena as a private event was blocking the usual door. This was a nice touch as we feared we would have to wait in the long lines outside in the rain. Once again the team at the Sports Bars went above and beyond. “I’ve been dining at Babylon Bar and Restaurant for many years, and it continues to be one of my favourite spots in the city. Located right on Denman Street near English Bay Beach, it’s the perfect place to sit, relax, and soak in the view and the incredible Vancouver ambiance.

One of the things that truly sets Babylon apart is the owner. He’s often outside engaging with the public, welcoming guests personally, and you can immediately see how passionate he is about his food and his restaurant. He recognizes me every time I come in and treats me like family — that kind of genuine hospitality is rare and speaks volumes.

The service is always top notch — warm, attentive, and authentic. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate how accommodating they are. On my last visit, he made me a crispy-style falafel wrap with fries, and it was absolutely incredible. The wrap was perfectly done, full of flavour, and the side of tahini sauce they serve with it takes it to another level.

If you’re visiting English Bay or just walking along Denman, I highly recommend stopping in. Great food, outstanding service, beautiful location — this place is a true Vancouver gem.“

My friend and I sat at the bar, and despite the basketball theme, the staff was kind enough to switch a TV to the Canucks game for us, which was a thoughtful touch. We took full advantage of the all-day happy hour—amazing deals and delicious drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. “Today my friend and I stopped in for a quick cold beer, we found this place to be inviting. The members/customers were all very friendly and helpful. They have a nice little pool table, pull tabs, cheap beers, friendly staff, and a smoking area that had a nice breeze way. The place is very organized, very clean and well run. There are lots of things such as events, and draws and raffles going on here steady throughout the week and weekends in the summer. The decor is very fresh and it has a really nice upbeat feel to the place. My friend and I are definetly coming back more often.“

“Popped in to check out the Sports Bar vibe. We heard it’s the place to be during 2026 FIFA World Cup and wanted to secure our spot if it lived up to the hype. We met and were served by Cam. He’s attentive, engaging and we decided absolutely this is where we want to watch a Canada match in June.
