“Great spot for lunch in Burnaby, super delicious every time. Vegetables taste fresh and the rice is cooked to perfection.
I recommend sizing up every time, it's worth it. The tofu rice bowl with avocado is a great option for vegans, just ask for spicy sauce instead of the regular creamy sauce.
Really affordable and great value. I've only done take out here, so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but when we ordered for a large group they were really accommodating with all requests.
I would caution sometimes their hours are irregular and they cancel online orders last minute.
Vegetarian options: Tofu rice bowl was great, but it's more like a sweet beancurd“

“We are two Mexicans and we had our doubts when we wanted to go to eat at Carnitas El Rolys; However, when we tried the real food it tasted like the carnitas that we miss so much from Mexico. They are the best carnitas in Vancouver. Furthermore, the service was excellent, as they were about to close we contacted them and they prepared our food with great pleasure even before we arrived. If you are a Mexican who misses their food, you won't regret coming here :).“

“Not enough space for dining in.
No place to wash hands in the whole facility.
HYGIENE IS A BIG ISSUE I SAW AS THE SERVERS WERE USING THE OLD DISPOSABLE GLOVES OVER AND OVER FOR EVERYONE.
Food has a lot of floating oil, and doesn’t taste like donair but tastes more like indian curry.
Parking: Hard to find parking around, all street parking spots are almost always taken.“

“Makchang Sundaeguk, something I’ve never had before even in Korea! Seriously, it’s the most delicious thing in the world.. I think you should seriously consider re-exporting it..?
+ This sundae soup relieves my homesickness a lot.. May you prosper!
+ There are always a lot of customers and the space is not large, so I recommend going early or leaving plenty of time!“

“Enjoyed a bowl of cold buckwheat noodles and the most delicious and premium seafood pancake I've had. The value of the pancake is worth the higher than average cost. The pots of hot corn tea made sitting outside on a chilly evening quite comfortable and a kettle of Makgeolli was the perfect size for a table of 3-4.“
