“Retro vibe with beer names that will make you smile and go down memory lane. The names get me every time and I will admit I often order by name and do not even look at the flavor of the beer. I have had few I did not like but they were drinkable. The pizza is available at different times on certain days. I would suggest making plans to plan the visit when you can get the pizza. The Return of the Mac is so far our favorite and we destroy it and will forget our drinks as we are so focused on the pizza.

Vibe is great, the drinks are great and pizza is amazing. Staff are super chill this is a place you can spend hours at and just get lost in the moment.“

“The beer is great and I love the new brewers series After a Reno last year they replaced the chairs with ones that are super uncomfortable if you have wide hips- my friends and I have to sit sideways …. Also sad to see the food menu has changed..meh tacos et“

“We only discovered this brewery yesterday through a friend. We got to sample a testing and fell in love with all the selections. We checked out the actual Brewery today. What an amazing place, the feeling was warm, the staff was friendly. We purchased lots today. And we can’t wait to come back with friends and recommending it to friends. Great job ! “I'm a New West resident and have been going to Steel & Oak probably since it first opened and any time I have served growlers of their beer at gatherings on my deck, people have loved it. I recently went there with a group of non-New West friends and everybody enjoyed the beer, food, service, atmosphere and vinyl collection. As I was paying my tab there was a problem with the credit card machine and I was inadvertently charged twice. When I dropped in to explain what happened the staff were super friendly and helpful in getting me a refund. I’ll continue to tell people how great this place is and be in on a regular basis.“

“Just had the burger of the month, the Fall Forage smash with the falafel patty, and a stout. Both were awesome. Falafel was super fresh and tasty. I've tried most of their beers, and kombucha, and I appreciate that they are all really different, and don't all just taste like hops. Love that they added a food menu! Nice to be able to get good hot food instead of just snacks, like a lot of breweries. This is one of my favourite places. Would recommend.“

“I always have a great experience in the Tasting Room. The beers are fresh and tasty. The staff is always friendly and attentive, in particular Sue, she always greets me with a smile and let's me know the new beers that they've just tapped. I'll be visiting again soon! Cheers!“

“I visited Northpaw Brew Co. and sampled a flight. My favourite selection was "Business as Usual," a rich IPA with intense fruity flavours and a smooth mouthfeel. "The Little Red Corvet" was rich and robust, offering a sweet, caramelized taste. It's precisely what you'd hope for in a red ale, and it certainly didn't disappoint. "Ring the Alarm," their Mexican lager, was a refreshing surprise. It had a crisp and clean taste with low bitterness, making it easy to drink. This lager was everything you'd expect from the style but with an added layer of flavour that made it a standout choice. Lastly, "The Midnight Love," a stout, rounded out the flight. While stouts are not typically my go-to choose, I had heard great things about this one. However, it may not be my personal favourite. Whether you're an IPA lover, a red ale aficionado, a lager enthusiast, or a stout connoisseur, they have something to offer for everyone.“

“We held a company dinner here for 70 people and we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. The patio is super cute but we had a lot of Oilers fans and the pub accommodated with the game on every screen. We all arrived at once and they were hustling to get everyone a drink and that service level was maintained for the evening with everyone satisfied. We had a buffet of standard pub food (keep your expectations as such and you'll be happy) and the pulled pork sliders were the highlight. They even brought some of the platters around to the tables which was much appreciated! James and his team did an amazing job keeping our team hydrated and fed!“
