Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. “Where do I begin? First off the service is top notch friendly and accommodating. My husband had surgery and required food that had low to no sodium. I explained this to the waitress and she was knowledgeable on the best items to order and difference in how things are seasoned and overall knew her menu. She went above and beyond talking to the kitchen and packed our order to go making sure we had all the fixings to make it a great meal for the dietary concerns we were working with. I went back for day two as we are from out of town and they were just as accommodating and made sure everything was labelled no salt and such. Such a great place, food is fantastic and so accommodating! Thanks for a great experience.”

“It is a good place to try Indian food. The place is so calm and peaceful we felt like we are the only ones and i felt like home. Food and service is also so good.
We tried-
Chicken biryani - 8/10 ( I used to think in Prince George madras maple cafe only have good biryani but this one also so good)
Butter naan - 9.5/10
Lamb curry- 7.5/10 (I am not a big fan of lamb but still it tasted good and I enjoyed having it).
Tandoori chicken- 8/10.

“On Friday April 18th, My daughter and I were in PG and have never dined in this city We chose Nancy O's, and were not disappointed. We were seated at a deuce, near the front window, our server was friendly, and knew the menu. I had the Drunken burger with truffle parmesan fries, my daughter had the Korean fried chicken with rice. Our server recommended the fish tacos, which we ordered. The burger was the best burger I've ever eaten, and I've had them in Toronto, Montreal and New York. Perfect marriage of sweet rum bbq sauce and savory spices. The truffle parmesan fries were in toxicating, with that aroma of truffle oil, and wafer thin slices of reggiano cheese. My daughters Korean fried chicken was crisp, flavourful, and satisfying. The fish tacos were delightful, refreshing, topped with microgreesns, and on a bed of crunchy onion, corn and a blend of herbs I haven't been able to identify, but made me really happy! The atmosphere here is welcoming, friendly and if I lived in PG I would be there probably twice a week. My next visit to this town is in May, and all I can think about is which part of the menu I will be ordering next. I highly recommend this wonderful warm place. Go there! Eat! And you will be happy!”

“We order from here almost every time we come to PG. the food is beautiful, reasonably priced and they are not shy to give us the heat we ask for! We always order enough to take home and feed us for a couple days as it’s such a treat. The staff, including the cook whom we asked to meet were gracious and lovely. Only downfall was they kept their red wine in a fridge. Red wine should be cool or room temperature not cold! But, that’s a minor flaw… walked away happy!”

“Wow, I'm impressed. This McDonald's has been open for about 6 months now, and I have just recently started coming to it. First drive thru and now inside. I rarely come for the food, maybe the occasional muffin, apple pie, or value menu item. But I love the coffee, and they have their main competitor beat by far (price wise, 1.75 for extra large and Tim Hortons 2.78 for extra large) The layout and design of restaurant was well planned. Wheel chair parking and accessibility are outstanding. Service is excellent as well, and they will even come by table with a refill for your coffee if you let them know.

“Quite a while back, I had been here and had several bad experiences, so I quit going, however, with the prompting of a few people, I was assured that things had greatly improved and encouraged me to once again try. I went out and had the fish and chips and really enjoyed them. Went a second time and had a clubhouse sandwich, and again, I was satisfied with it. Since then, I have gone many a time for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and occasionally dinner. The food is good to excellent, and I am glad to see the great turnaround. Service is good, staff are friendly and I would love to give a big thumbs up to their milkshakes. My favorite is the blueberry, you won't be disappointed.

I went there with my sister who came to Canada recently and wanted to show her how amazing the burritos here are. He was do impatient while making the two burritos and I could clearly see on his face. He did not even give us tray even after telling him that we will be staying here to eat. I really wish if he could have greeted us with a genuine smile, our experience there could have been way more better. Again I still love the place!”

I am from California and my daughter has been a student at UNBC. During her finals week I was remotely trying to order a special breakfast to be delivered to help her get through a particularly challenging day. I discovered that such orders cannot be made from outside of Canada.

I called the Tim Hortons on Ferry Avenue to ask what my options were and the phone was answered by the owner Sam Walker. After hearing my plight he personally went out of his way to make sure that my daughter got a hot power breakfast and a specialty coffee.

This gesture took Canada’s friendliness to a whole new level!!! Thank you, Sam Walker, for being a blessing to our family and for your leadership with kindness!”

I have to admit thought my singular and slightly petty issue is that it was quite hot sitting in there on a day that was rather hot outside as well. But that's a miniscule issue I'll admit. It wasn't too bad, but as someone who can't stand the heat, I'd have hopped a restaurant like theirs to be at least cool and refreshing.

“This place knows their coffee like no other cafe in Prince George. I am SO happy to have found such an amazing spot, my new favourite. Their lattes are perfectly creamy, espresso has the most delectable aroma (and flavour) AND they make their own syrups in house! So may options for those looking to delight their taste buds- soups are all wonderful. Treats are out of this world. I wish the parking situation in downtown PG was better- but it wouldn't stop me from coming here even if I had to park a mile away and walk LOL.”

“I ordered the Ensenada chicken platter. There was a choice of one or two chicken breasts. I order the one breast option. when it came there was only half a chicken breast. When I asked the waitress about it she said they were running it of chicken. I told her I wasn't happy about it. She offered fries? I still had to pay 16.99 for what wasn't much more than a chicken nugget. Very disappointing. The picture I'd what the menu said it should look like. not even close”

“I absolutely love that this place has gluten friendly options! They're so good and they're a healthy option open LATE.
The only downside is there are no gluten friendly taco options (for delivery at least) and that takes a star off for me.
Please please PLEASE add a gluten friendly taco option!

“Where do I begin? First off the service is top notch friendly and accommodating. My husband had surgery and required food that had low to no sodium. I explained this to the waitress and she was knowledgeable on the best items to order and difference in how things are seasoned and overall knew her menu. She went above and beyond talking to the kitchen and packed our order to go making sure we had all the fixings to make it a great meal for the dietary concerns we were working with. I went back for day two as we are from out of town and they were just as accommodating and made sure everything was labelled no salt and such. Such a great place, food is fantastic and so accommodating! Thanks for a great experience.”

“Not too shabby, reminds me of your trendy type restaurant like Earl's or Moxies. The food and service were good. The prices are what you would expect for such a place. Check it out and see if it's something you like or not. The burgers are great. I love the yam fries and dip. Appies are great. Between 3 and 5 pm they have appie specials so check it out and share a couple with friends and family. I keep coming back here to continue to explore the menu everything I and others have ordered has been excellent, no disappointments. There is a lunch and a dinner menu and also ask about specials as well.”

“The food here is great, one of the best chinese food restaurants in Prince George. The prices are a bit on the pricy side but you get what you pay for. The service is good and the portions are decent sized. The menu selection is extensive and they offer a lunch menu until 2:30 pm offering Dim Sum and other combos for a lunch sized meal & price. Try the rock fish for lunch with the pork stuffed bean curd. I have tried many dishes here and have always enjoyed absolutely everything. Like the Hot Pots, Cantonese Style Crispy Chowmein with Seafood and Wor Wonton Soup, but I have left many favorites out. I would advise bringing a group of people then ordering family style so you can try new dishes never tried before. I find it disappointing that most people I know play it safe ordering only a limited number of familiar dishes, live a little you will likely enjoy the chances you take trying new menu items. Ask the waitress or other staff to assist you in trying a new menu option, live a little, don't be such a stick in the mud. Come on down and check them out. Leave your Google posts as well tell everyone what you think.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, this place is kid friendly as well, they have high chairs and booster seats and offer coloring books and other distractions for little children. Call in advance if want to make sure you can be accommodated. The restaurant also offers a limited western menu for children not used to eating Chinese cuisine.”
