“It is a good place to try Indian food. The place is so calm and peaceful we felt like we are the only ones and i felt like home. Food and service is also so good.

Chicken biryani - 8/10 ( I used to think in Prince George madras maple cafe only have good biryani but this one also so good)
Butter naan - 9.5/10
Lamb curry- 7.5/10 (I am not a big fan of lamb but still it tasted good and I enjoyed having it).
Tandoori chicken- 8/10.

“My first choice when going out for lunch, dinner, or my birthday! Without fail, every single time I go to the winery I am in absolute adoration with this place. The building itself is beautiful, and has a neat history. The views are gorgeous year-round. Every single event I have gone to has been spectacular. When ever friends and family come from out of town Northern Lights is my FIRST suggestion. This is literally my favourite restaurant! The staff is amazing! I really appreciate all the hard work Erin and Jackson put in along with everyone else that works there! There was a young woman working the tasting counter the last time my boyfriend and I stopped in and she was absolutely fabulous and incredibly knowledgeable! (Sorry I didn’t catch your name.) “Had an amazing meal and of course I had an appetizer… the Neptune was almost too filling but when I got the swordfish….hmmm then I had with the risotto like what!! “We order from here almost every time we come to PG. the food is beautiful, reasonably priced and they are not shy to give us the heat we ask for! We always order enough to take home and feed us for a couple days as it’s such a treat. The staff, including the cook whom we asked to meet were gracious and lovely. Only downfall was they kept their red wine in a fridge. Red wine should be cool or room temperature not cold! But, that’s a minor flaw… walked away happy!”

“Our first visit for supper here Izzy was a great server.. the food was good. The kitchen made a mistake with 1 of our orders. The guest was offered fries til it was fixed. Well we all ate.. the time she got her food again was 22 minutes after all the others ate. When it was brought to the managers attention she said I will discount the bill. As this guest filled up on fries, not her main dish, so she took it home. We got $4.62 off the bill of $130.00. I dont expect it all for free by all means. But we are from out of town , and I think $4.00 off is a not appropriate. I brought it up to Cecilia the manager and she shrugged it off saying they are busy.. and she told me she didn't care if I put in a review about it. Too busy to care.

“CrossRoad Brewing was such a fun find in Prince George! Their dog-friendly patio made it super easy to enjoy a meal without leaving our pup behind. “First time at the Oakroom Grill, we went for the live music. (Mike Vigano 🎶) We ordered the fish and chips and the 10oz Steak and Lobster Tail. Everything was unbelievably delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server was Ashley-Paige, and she was stellar! Friendly and efficient. 😁 We were so impressed with everything that we ordered dessert. The Strawberry Crème Brûlée was superb! I have had some really bad restaurant experiences lately, so this was a very nice surprise. 10/10 recommend.”

“Wow, I'm impressed. This McDonald's has been open for about 6 months now, and I have just recently started coming to it. First drive thru and now inside. I rarely come for the food, maybe the occasional muffin, apple pie, or value menu item. But I love the coffee, and they have their main competitor beat by far (price wise, 1.75 for extra large and Tim Hortons 2.78 for extra large) The layout and design of restaurant was well planned. Wheel chair parking and accessibility are outstanding. Service is excellent as well, and they will even come by table with a refill for your coffee if you let them know.

“This play place was amazing for the toddlers ages 3 and 5. It was a tough place to leave. Three levels of climbing. Our five year is an ASD kiddo and we don’t allow screen time with his regulation struggles with devices. There were two iPads at the location which made it tough for the boys to leave. Some McFlurrys got us out the door with some tears.”

We knew it was going to be a good dinner when our favorite server Holly was working.
We got talked into the new salmon bowls and a prickly pear margarita for the wife and coffee for me since its a bit of a drive home.

“I’ve been here a few times. Once for appetizers, once for drinks, and once for lunch with friends. Each visit has been very enjoyable. The service is always pleasant, and the atmosphere is comfortable, perfect for chatting and relaxing with friends or family.

The portions are fair for the price, and the food is tasty for pub style food. While no main dish has jumped out as “exceptional,” everything I’ve tried has been good. One standout appetizer, though, is the dill pickle wings. SO flavorful and highly recommended!

Parking is moderate, with a small lot right in front. We’ve never had trouble finding a spot. So far there's never been a wait to get in.”

I have to admit thought my singular and slightly petty issue is that it was quite hot sitting in there on a day that was rather hot outside as well. But that's a miniscule issue I'll admit. It wasn't too bad, but as someone who can't stand the heat, I'd have hopped a restaurant like theirs to be at least cool and refreshing.

“So the wife and I were in town this weekend and after a long day of shopping and stocking up, we decided to stop in at Browns for dinner.
We knew it was going to be a good dinner when our favorite server Holly was working.
We got talked into the new salmon bowls and a prickly pear margarita for the wife and coffee for me since its a bit of a drive home.
Food and drinks were excellent as always, even though the place was busy our server Holly never left us for more than 10 min, refills etc all arrived in a timely manner. Keep up the great food we will be back again soon!!”

“Always a great experience at this location! The pizza is consistently fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The crust is cooked just right every time, and they never skimp on the toppings. Staff are friendly and quick with service, whether you’re dining in or picking up. Definitely one of the better Pizza Hut spots I’ve been to. Highly recommend if you’re in Prince George and craving pizza!”

“We went for an early supper there yesterday. We've eaten here before and are amazed at how good the food is when it is also ready so fast. My #12 combination was loaded to the max and could not be eaten in one sitting, and my wife was in the same boat. What a great boat to be in, because for one price, you get enough to bring home for another great meal!”

“First time at the Oakroom Grill, we went for the live music. (Mike Vigano 🎶) We ordered the fish and chips and the 10oz Steak and Lobster Tail. Everything was unbelievably delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server was Ashley-Paige, and she was stellar! Friendly and efficient. 😁 We were so impressed with everything that we ordered dessert. The Strawberry Crème Brûlée was superb! I have had some really bad restaurant experiences lately, so this was a very nice surprise. 10/10 recommend.”
