China Cup Buffet Reviews
very good taste and atmosphere is almost good
The iconic Canadian-Chinese smorgas. Food so good you wanna do a little dance. The atmosphere was incredible in the old location but the light and airy atmosphere of the new spot is great!
New go to place for Chinese food unlocked!
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and paid $26 per person which is a damn good deal!
Delicious food, so much variety- multiple types of noodles/fried rice, pork. Beef, wings, chicken, shrimp, squid, tofu, vegetables - really good selection!
Not sure what the other reviewers are whining about! From my experience this is one of the best restaurants and value for money in Prince George !!

China Cup Buffet offers a wide selection of food, with vegetarian options available. The quality of the food can vary, but the restaurant provides a salad bar, ice cream machine, and unlimited pop refills. It is kid-friendly, with options like chicken strips and fries, and wheelchair accessible with no stairs and designated parking. Recent reviews highlight that the buffet has some variety, including different sushi rolls that taste good and are not overloaded with rice. The sweet and sour soup is flavorful and not overly spicy, and the hot sour soup could have more depth. Some dishes, like roast beef, may run out early, so arriving early is recommended. The battered squid, muscles, and prawns are tender but may lack seasoning, and some items are heavy on batter, which might not suit everyone. The deep-fried chicken, prawns, and pork are generally tender, with different glazes such as honey/garlic and sweet and sour. The chicken wings are tasty and tender, though some find the use of MSG affects how full they feel. Soups are placed near mashed potatoes and gravy, and should have more texture with diced shrimp or water chestnut. The restaurant is clean and well serviced, with quick service and a true all you can eat experience. While signs of aging are visible, the overall atmosphere remains enjoyable. Parking is available, and the menu offers a full beef roast, though Ginger beef is not on the menu. Despite some inconsistencies, many find the experience worth a visit for the variety and value.
