My wife wanted to try out a new hot pot place in Richmond.....so we drove 45min in traffic to get here for 6pm dinner on a Wednesday.
I like the selections, especially the pork neck 😋. Big Way Hot Pot does not have it. Plus you get a free sandwich or chicken wings or drink if your bowl is over $18. Very spacious and not as squishy as the other places.
Free parking lot with lots of spots and unlimited ice cream 🍦. Their Japanese bone broth is very good. It does taste like real broth and not powder. The honey dew flavor ice cream with sesame cone is 👍.

I had an amazing experience at this hot pot restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What really made the visit special was the excellent service — a Brazilian staff member helped me, and he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such warm and genuine service these days. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends!

I invited my friends to try this place out for my bday and they all liked the food and the atmosphere. Some of them mentioned how they liked the variety of options, and how some were different from Big Way. The staff were really friendly and saved a table for my group when I arrived. We came at 6, but it seemed to really get busy around 7/8 (weekend evenings get busy).
They had a promotion going on where you can choose a free side or iced green tea if you spend $18+. I tried the Chinese burger as my side and really liked it. I also like that they have a soft serve machine! The decor inside is very pretty too, and so is their branding for their take out bags :)

The food was good, there were many options to choose from. The service was alright. I ordered water, and the waiter came with a giant water bottle, and it had a piece of hair inside the water, so I had to ask the waiter to change the water. Finally the atmosphere, it was cool, everything is modern, with colors focusing on light brown, white, beige, and dark brown. I like the restaurant theme. Overall, the restaurant was a good place to eat but the service needs to be improved a bit

Soup is made in house and tastes like real ingredient stock, very delicious. Wide choice of seafood with some specialty items, such as frog legs and fish ball with egg yolk core). I would avoid lucky bags though, and take fish balls instead. Price was $2.84 per 100g if i remember correctly. Leave room for Free icecream on cone! It was a nice end to the meal. They have plenty of parking in their private parking lot. Would visit again.

Our friends brought us here to celebrate a birthday. Seating is first come first serve, we got there at 530 and it was easy to get a table for 9 but it got really busy as we were leaving.
You walk in pick up a big metal bowl and choose what you want for hot pot. Then you take it to the counter and they weight it. You then choose a soup base and can add extra seasoning. They give you a number and you go find a table. They will help you with that too.
Not sure if it's always the case but if you spend more than $18 you get a free drink or side.
Once seated, go find the sauce bar. Asian sauce and seasoning to make a dip for your hot pot.
A few minutes later they arrive with the contents of your bowl in a hotpot soup dish....and enjoy. We got an extra bowl of white rice for 1$. They have a small beer selection as well.
Next to the sauce bar was a soft serve ice cream machine. So you get desert with your dinner as well.
Parking in the area can be a bit challenging. Pay parking on street, free parking in their lot but it's a busy area.
Pro tip: if you get stuck a friend told me park at superstore and walk over. Just sayin.

Pick your choices of food and pay at cashier and they will cook in a big hot pot and serve at your table. Comes with choice of drinks or Chinese style Burger. Very nice style of food service
We tried this new hotpot restaurant for lunch today. It was a fairly nice experience even though servers were just learning the ropes and customers were reaching over others to get ingredients or going ahead of people instead of moving along in order of entry. There are more choices to flavour broth bases than at other similar pay-by-weight places. There is also a spice bar and soft-serve ice-cream that is self-served. The setting is bright and roomy; tables are spread out, so dining there is relaxing and enjoyable. For those who know, this location is where Felico’s use to be. There’s limited free parking at the lot. During their soft opening, if you spend $15 or more, you get a choice of a Chinese ‘burger’ or bun stuffed with pork or a free drink. I’d return.

My usual go to broth combo here is their chicken broth with tomato and it's delicious! We love their choice of ingredients and their sauce bar. They recently upgraded their icecream machine and their flavor was mango, which turned out to be quite tasty too (tasted like Mango Melona 😊). Spend over $18 and you can choose 1 out of 4 free items. We got their fried fish + chinese burger. Both were great. They also have a membership program now too!
