We’ve been coming to Happy Valley Village Restaurant for about three years, and one of the things that keeps bringing us back is how friendly and welcoming the staff are. The management and staff have stayed consistent over the years, and they recognize us every time we come in. At this point, they genuinely treat us like family, which makes every visit feel special.

This place is designed to look like a North Eastern Chinese eatery so even as a Chinese I was surprised with all the small details. Suffice to say it was a very good experience for me!
The soup took a while to cook so you have to order some appies to tide your hunger. The donut stick was very delicious! Way better than the corn bread they cooked on the side of the hot wok.
The soup is very flavorful and rich. This was the 2 person portion shared by 3 of us with leftovers.

Iron pot was really good. The iron pot pancake soaks up the sauce, so that pancake or bread dough thing, was also really tasty. The cold shredded potatoe dish is also recommended.
