“Fluffle Cafe officially opened end of August last year, and yes, the hype is real. Come for the bingsoo, especially the Mango Bingsoo, basically every table had one! The mangoes themselves are sweet and juicy, though fair warning: they drizzle an extra sweet mango syrup on top. As for the drinks, let’s just say stick to the desserts. The Strawberry Latte is basically milk with strawberry jam, and the Red Bean Latte has the flavour, but all the ground red beans settle at the bottom, so you might need a serious stir. Go big on the bingsoo, go light on the drinks, and enjoy the cozy vibes!“

“Their mochi is so good! After dinner, I was feeling quite full, but I stumbled upon this desserts place while exploring the area. It's a cute little shop with Hong Kong signs adorning its walls. The decor is simple yet charming and inviting. I ordered their combo mochi, which includes two durian and two mango. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the mochi was simply delicious. The price is quite reasonable, around $16 CAD after taxes. I highly recommend visiting this place; the staff is very helpful and friendly.“

“A cozy place to have some really yummy Korean food, super nostalgic flavours! The owner Jessie is amazing, super sweet and inviting. I tried their strawberry croffle, the croffle is crispy and the fruits are fresh. The bubble tea was good too, the pearls are just right. I also tried the fish shape waffles, crunchy yet flavourful. Will come back again!“

“Great dessert place. You must try the soft serve with the taiyaki. The taiyaki by itself is good, but much much much better with the soft serve. Soft, crunchy, and hot mix with not too sweet but good soft serve ice cream. Awesome match. Setting is ok. Ordering is ok too. Speed is fine for so many people. Worth a try and worth the money.“

“I enjoy the experience of tearing the bubble waffle one by one and crushing the hot crispy waffle in the mouth and then feel the custard filling leaking from inside - The crispy outside and moist fragrant inside🤤
This place is located in the market. A bit hard to find parking if you go during peak hours market time. Off peak hours at 11 - 11.30am is quite easy to get parking.
This waffle bubble is highly recommended. I like the chocolate and durian filling best.
When you feel like wanting to hv fun snacking, this is the best choice.“

“I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and finally went today! The interior is adorable, and the desserts were so good. I especially like that many of them are soy bean–based, so they taste lighter and not too sweet.

My favorites were the matcha soup with soybean tofu and what I believe was sea salt ice cream. It looked like vanilla but had a subtle salty flavor that made it really unique and delicious. The rabbit pudding was also amazing — super silky, smooth, and honestly my favorite.

Highly recommend giving this place a try. Totally worth it!“

“This place is a hidden gym, situated right across Costco. They have the best coconut desserts in Richmond, easily. My favourite is the Mango Lovers which is like a flavour explosion in your mouth. It is run by an elderly couple. Come support your local mom and pop store, you won't be disappointed.“

“First time here with my daughter and a friend. We had the blueberry cake, fig cake, as well as the strawberry chocolate cake. All delicious although my favourite was the blueberry one😬 The cafe staff were so nice and attentive. They offered my daughter extra goodies on the side and even a fruit cup after the desserts were finished. Would absolutely go back there! Cafe was busy at all times, but the wait seemed reasonable for patrons who arrived after us. Parking wasn’t too bad either considering the location.“

“Decent sweet soup shop. Not a lot of menu options, but has the usual sweet soups.

Compared to another sweet soup shop, the mango pomelo sago here was slightly less sweet which wasnt as popular with my kids.

I got the durian sago which had durian meat, ice cream and it was very good.

Overall, great service. The lady serving owns the shop, and she's very friendly.“

“Azure Café has such a great atmosphere — cozy, welcoming, and perfect for catching up with friends over dessert. Their sweet soups are always amazing. We always come back for the Mango Tapioca & Taro Mochi Soup and the Fermented Rice & Osmanthus Jelly with Mochi Balls — comforting, fragrant, and just the right sweetness.

Recently, we tried their new Red Bean Mochi Dorayaki, and it’s a must-order! Soft, chewy mochi with perfectly balanced red bean filling — such a nice addition to the menu. Highly recommend if you’re a dessert lover!“

“Stopped by Freshly Dessert in Richmond and really enjoyed it.
The desserts tasted fresh, with chewy taro balls and sweet potato balls that had a great texture. The tofu pudding was smooth, and the brown sugar syrup wasn’t overly sweet, which made everything well balanced and easy to enjoy.“

“Tapioca (Sago) 西米露 Dessert hot and creamy decadent, supported by strong aroma of coconut milk, rich condensed milk, and perfect chewiness of toppings (tasted fresh) - my afternoon treat at Icy Bar 利源冰店 across Lansdowne Mall.

The selection of dessert is quite impressive (shaved and flavoured ice, different kind of puddings, pancakes, sweet soups, crepe cake, toasts, …). For many of the desserts one can order one’s own combination of toppings as well. Reasonable prices, casual atmosphere small place and quiet in the late afternoon with good service and takes credit card.“
