Geng Shi Ji Reviews
Came here for dinner - great food, excellent service, very nice atmosphere! They even have cute glassware sold up front alongside their cafe. Been here twice recently and would recommend highly to anyone!
Had a wonderful time; the food was excellent. Service was nice, and the atmosphere was lively. I would recommend.
Went there by accident because the restaurant we planned to go was closed and my car happened to park outside this restaurant so decided to give it a try.
Very delicious vegetable rice and pork meatballs with egg rolls stuffed with minced pork.
Attentive servers and helped us understand the menu.
Will definitely go back with a bigger group to try more dishes especially the chicken.

Geng Shi Ji is a Chinese fusion restaurant in Richmond, Canada, offering authentic JiangZhe dishes at fair prices. The signature dish of chicken casserole with pork belly and pork feet is a must-try, requiring pre-order in advance. The menu features a variety of dishes, including pan-fried fish, beef, tofu, and rice, with options to suit every taste. Some dishes, like the pot stew and eggplant with thousand years egg, are highly recommended and worth trying. The restaurant's friendly and warm waitstaff provide good service, making dining experiences enjoyable. However, some customers feel that the quality and quantity of dishes do not always meet expectations, especially considering the price. Occasional service lapses were mentioned, but overall, Geng Shi Ji remains a good choice for a memorable meal with a fusion style Hunan cuisine experience. The restaurant is praised for respecting the national culture of some customers by not providing cutlery, allowing them to eat with their hands, and the whole chicken dish is highly recommended.
