About Golden Time

Golden Time is a very good place to go for skewers, probably a favorite skewer place in Canada. The food is always incredible, with a spice mix that makes the food very yummy. The skewers come out nicely seasoned and cook evenly on the automatic rotator at the table. The lamb and beef are super yummy, and the wings and sausages are juicy with a good smoky kick. The spicy clams are a standout dish with a rich, garlicky chili sauce. Dripping doug soup is absolutely amazing and authentic. Prices are cheaper than any other place, with skewers at $1 per skewer. The self serve spice adds to the flavour. Service is lovely, friendly, efficient, and considerate. Staff check on the grill and clear plates quickly. The table and chairs are fairly uncomfortable, and the chicken wings are below average and take forever to cook. The tabletop grill setup is fun and perfect for sharing, making it a comfortable spot for casual drinks and late-night skewers. Free street parking after 9PM.
