Tried this older BBQ place, it opened before the others in Richmond. Menu was good, some items were cheaper than Tasty and Party grill ie. Oysters and scallops. Surprised it doesn't have the pan heating up food like the other BBQ restaurants. The seating is a bit more comfortable and spacious, parking was easier, decorations were cute. They take credit cards and free take out containers, made it more convenient. Food was average, some good, some were okay.
Go in, get some meat skewers (Angus beef kebab, lamb special, ox tongue and one bite lu lamb are all great options), get some steamed buns, have a beer, drop $35-40 per person and leave pretty satisfied. Everything was delicious.
I ordered the bbq codfish and lamb skewers for takeout on Fantuan, and was highly impressed with the care in the packaging! The food was prepared on time by the time of pickup.
The food was delicious and a great dinner choice if you want to eat at home. I cooked my own quail eggs, but it already comes with black fungus (wooden ear), wide glass noodles, and bean sprouts!
