Consistently excellent service from Kitcho Izakaya. The food was delicious as always, top quality and definitely worth the price. Their late night menu starts at 8:30PM, and fresh oysters are just $9 for half a dozen, which is an incredible deal given the freshness. Staff are always attentive, regularly topping up water and tea without needing to be asked.
Very nice place, staff are super friendly! We had a party of 7 the staff were very attentive to our table and very nice. The food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend eating here.
This is a typical izakaya where it's going to be loud. The service could be a bit more attentive (we had to work hard to flag someone's attention to refill tea).
Food is not bad and pricing is mostly in line with other izakayas. Nothing really to write home about nor necessarily worth returning for. Too many options in the lower mainland and nothing stood out particularly for this meal for us.
