Peanut's Bubble Tea 花生米, established in 1994, offers a must-try wheel cake, reminiscent of Taiwanese street food. The Zhen milk tastes similar to non-chain stores in Taiwan. Their shredded radish is also authentic, while the wheel cakes have a unique almond flavor. The radish and wheel cakes are affordably priced. The owner is known to be friendly.

Highly recommended is the black sesame mochi flavored red bean cake, with a discount for buying four at a time. The pearls are the best compared to other boba places, and the menu is quite big. The lychee ginger tea and lemon slice tea are really yummy, with strong ginger flavor. The wheel cakes have a good ratio of filling. Personal favorites are black sesame as well as red bean because both fillings have just the right amount of sweetness. The pearls are like medium sized so it’s perfect for chewing and don’t get stuck in straws. Their pearls are on the softer side and that’s how one prefers them. The drinks are not overly sweet as is. Good drinks at a good price. Parking is plentiful but can be busy on weekends.
