Chestnut cake for my birthday - I wish the almond covered the cake is crunchy, but no, they are soft and chewy. The texture of the cake is a bit on the dense side - not exactly the angle food cake texture. Chestnut layer is slightly on the sweet side. Good chestnut flavour though. Overall, this chestnut cake requires a lot of chewing given the wet texture of the almonds. Freshly baked daily with a lot of baked products to choose from and reasonably priced. Cakes are a bit pricey for the quality. Stores in Richmond BC is at the Aberdeen Centre and CF Richmond Centre.

I got a yudane bread and a sea salt cheese bun, it was good quality. Yudane was a little on the sweeter side but the cheese bun was very nice. The service was very quick, I'll come back to try some savory buns the next time. Also, it was not as expensive as I thought it would be.
