I think that the price point and quality of the food is good. This place is now my go to for an easy weekend lunch with my toddler. They have $5/6 udon and teriyaki on rice which is a safe dish for kids to have. Iced coffee is decent as well!
I don't know what Japanese food should be like. But I go here after work. And it seems to me that everything should be like this, simple, tasty, healthy food. In general, that's all you need.

That being said, for how cheap it is? It's okay.
This is probably one of the cheapest things you can get in Lansdowne food court, aside from the Vietnamese place.
The sushi was kind of dry and broke apart easily.
The chicken teriyaki had enough sauce but could use a little more flavor.
Overall, 3/5...
