“We had the chance to attend the Celebration of the Legacy of Sensei Ian Noboru Miki, a Kendo Master, at The Canadian Brew House & Grill in Richmond, BC, and it was a wonderful experience.

The ambiance and atmosphere are very appealing and warm. It’s not your typical Irish pub vibe; instead, it offers a distinctly Canadian-style brew house experience that feels inviting and relaxed.

We ordered the House Hamburger, Yam Fries, and an IPA Beer. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was impressively fast. The waitresses were polite, cheerful, and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable.

This is a great spot for lunch, dinner, or simply grabbing a drink while watching a sports game. Whether you’re meeting friends or attending a special event, the atmosphere is lively yet comfortable.

“Our waitress Jaclyn was a real crowd pleaser! She was high energy from the first hello to the final goodbye. She got to know us and when she learned about our love of pickle backs… next thing we know there is a round coming to our table! What a great surprise and a fun way to transition from dinner to the concert we were seeing. The Sports Bar also had staff present to help direct and walk along customers from the sports bar to a near by door for easy access to Rogers arena as a private event was blocking the usual door. This was a nice touch as we feared we would have to wait in the long lines outside in the rain. Once again the team at the Sports Bars went above and beyond. “I decided to try this place out with not very high expectations...I could have had hugh expectations, this place still would have beat them!!

I've been here for two nights: taco Thursdays and pasta Tuesdays. Both are incredible!

The tacos are smaller, but you have a choice of 5 kinds, and the quality on all of them are amazing.

Tuesdays they have unlimited pasta. Sure, you have to pay extra for protein each round (there are a choice of a number of them like chicken, salmon and meatballs), but still, the sauces are well made and the pasta is filling!

Their happy hour is excellent as well.

Only downside is that it's busy during NFL, but every bar is like that, so it's not a negative.

“My daughter has played at Tilbury for years. For the last couple years we have regular scheduled practices on Tuesdays - which we (as adults) look forward to and call ‘Tilbury Tuesday’. The parents head upstairs for dinner, laughs and wait for our kids to join us after they practice. Patricia and her staff are fantastic - even remembering what we order and how we like it. Good food and drink prices, the staff were very friendly and attentive. It’s a great pub to visit. Vegetarian options and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have daily specials available, even on Saturdays, making it an affordable gem on the drive.“

They accommodated our special request to book out their mezzanine level for 50+ people for a joint birthday party, with a very reasonable deposit, and allowed us to decorate the place, bring in birthday cake, and have a mini karaoke corner using our own portable system with a laptop mirrored to one of their TVs as the karaoke screen. Service and food were great as well! We ordered a few rounds of appies for the group, and everyone purchases their own drinks and could order additional food as needed. Sam the manager was very good at checking in to ensure all was going well throughout the evening. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great special event space.
